My friend got injured on the first day of EDC (and still wanted to go the rest of the days), so I…read morescoured the Internet to see where I could rent wheelchairs in Vegas. One of the options I found was Cloud of Goods, and I was hesitant at first because of some of the recent negative reviews, but I realized most of them had to do with tardiness, so I could adjust accordingly. I placed the order on Saturday a little after 10 am and someone from 5 Scooters reached out to me to ask me when I wanted the wheelchair to be dropped off. I was slightly annoyed because I already put the time in the order, but I let them know the time, which was 6 (I believe they don't go past 7). The price for renting it from Saturday to Monday was $132, but if you book for a longer timeframe than your per-day cost would go down. They came close to my drop-off time with the wheelchair and needed a photo of my ID for their records. The wheelchair worked well and was easy to fold and fit in the car. I had gotten a manual one because I wasn't sure whether electronic ones would fit in the car. Since my pick-up date was Monday, they texted me Sunday night about the pick-up time (which was already in my order), and I told them 11 am. They came at about 11:40 am, so that was still pretty good time. Overall, I was grateful that I could make a same-day order and didn't have to wait too long for the pick-up and drop-off. The whole rental process was very convenient and worked out well with my schedule. I think I got lucky that the vendor I ended up with was 5 Scooters, so your experience will depend on what company ultimately fills your order.

Your customer service is a joke, unhelpful and said well there's nothing we can do. Your poor planning has now cost me an extra expense! The owner, Ed and his crew were great. High quality products, installed and reasonably price. A really great experience with quality ramps installed perfectly. The ramps were custom ordered and arrived in about 5 business days. Each ramp took about 45 minutes to install. Give 101 Mobility a call, Ed and his crew will not let you down.

The…read more"trigger" mechanism on the front of the right arm that you use to raise and lower the chair needed to be replaced. Since 101 Mobility sells that brand of stairlift I called them for help. They refused. It's a simple enough repair; all it takes is replacing the trigger, which is in an easily accessible location. But they would not do it because I hadn't purchased the stairlift from them. At first they said it was for "liability" reasons. When pressed, they admitted that they had had so many instances of botched repairs, even including damage to the stairlift causing it have to be replaced, that they stopped doing it except in the cases when they had to - for their own customers. Let's translate that. Their own estimation of the competence of their maintenance staff is so low that they don't want to even take a chance on letting them touch a machine that they don't have to by contract. Even for a simple, low-risk repair such as I needed. Well, I take them at their word. If they don't believe in their own competence, neither do I. Buyer beware.

Color ordered was not available for 7-8 weeks, so we changed the color. This was a different scooter than my previous one: owner spent less than 5 minutes explaining new scooter, because "we've had one before for 10 years ". Of course we had assembly issues at home. Brought it back and they accused us of forcing it together and bending a pin. I never even sat on it. Owner then told me to stop swearing - I'm 70 years old! I wasn't swearing AT him, but the situation. Lol The owner's wife called my daughter a bitch. We're the CUSTOMERS! It was only after all of that, he looked at the scooter issue and found it was not bent and it's ok now. Before, telling me that part always breaks and Pride needs to address it. Touting costs of $1000 to repair and saying it was a common problems for Pride. Again, I had the new scooter for a week - never used it. I reported the store to PRIDE, who were wonderful and stated that they have had no issues with that scooter. They will be escalating an investigation. They also gave a new dealer to go to. Another point, this store has limited hours and no emergency number. Open till 4 Mon-Fri, Sat till 2, closed Sunday. So, if you have issues and tickets to an evening event, you're out of luck. They stated they needed a day off. Business owners? Ha! BUYER BEWARE - LOTS OF MOBILTY STORES IN VEGAS. THIS ONE IS HORRIBLE.
