However when I clicked on the "view your order" I was immediately suspicious as the response was no such website? Tried calling and emailing the store unsuccessfully. Thankfully I'd used my credit card so I immediately (within 6 hours) reported it to my bank and they blocked the payment. Upon investigation they quickly co formed it was a scam and I was refunded the full amount. AVOID ANY WEBSITE CLAIMING TO BE THIS COMPANY

They have a lot of good items in this shop, such as mattresses, bed stands, desks, wardrobes, and chairs...did i mention the chairs? They have the best selection of chairs around! The chairs are probably the best value itesms in the store. Everything else seems quite expensive comapred to similar items at Tescos or Ikea. However, we need to support the independants so i definately would reccommend giving Clearance Centre a visit. Despite having the decor and backdrop of any typical east end London shop, looking past the gentle shabbiness is easy once you look at the prices on offer. Only a couple of hundred for some of the beds and mattress combos - you're guaranteed to make a stealing if you're willing to overlook some minor quality issues. The range is large as well - older style wooden beds, metal frames, succinct pine furniture and even some novelty and interesting shaped beds. The service was friendly, and when I said I was 'just looking' she believed me and backed off, giving me space. A decent little place.

I visited the shop in march to buy a Wallbed. James was very helpful and informative even though I was 20 minutes late and he had someone else to see. Although he showed me a variety of things and possibilities, he didn't try to oversell. In the end, due to contract issues, I couldn't order my bed until october, but he was helpful and remembered who I was, so I didn't have to start from scratch. 2 lovely men came to build the bed, they were helpful, friendly and polite. They did a great job. My bed is fantastic! While I waited for it to arrive, I regretted spending so much money on it, but once I got it, all my regrets were gone. I bought the comfort bed in king size with the shelves at the back and the lamps. The lamps are actually much better than the ones in the catalogue. The first day, I lay on it for 5 minutes and woke up 12 hours later. Another plus I didn't know about, you can move the sofa if you like, so you can use both at the same time if necessary. The quality is excellent, it's very easy to use. Some people ask me if it isn't too much work to close the bed every day, but it doesn't take more time than it would to make a normal bed nicely. (it doesn't have to look perfect as you close it) I chose a firm mattress, but there are other options. I don't know about those, but my mattress is fantastic. I have never before slept more than five hours a night, and usually I would wake up in the middle, but no more!! I sleep eight hours at least a day, I was late for work the first week I had it. Fantastic! I live in reasonably sized, but not huge two bed flat in Hove, I have a spare bedroom…read morewhich is big enough for a double bed, but not for wardrobes and desks as well, my master bedroom is a good size, but gets overwhelmed if filled with clothes, books and other paraphernalia. I needed to clear my two bedrooms of clutter, and make the spare room useable. I had a brainwave, what about a Murphy bed? I did some internet searching and came up with The London Wall Bed Company. After a brief email and telephone exchange, I went to their showroom in Acton where I met with James. We had a chat during which he skillfully, quickly and efficiently got an idea of my needs and showed me a range of products that would suit them. I left once we'd agreed on the right product which took around an hour, maybe less. Within 24 hours, I had received by email two estimates one for a fold down bed with wardrobes and one without as well as sketches based on the measurements I'd come up with. I thought I might try and reduce the cost by buying ready made wardrobes, but I decided that it would look better and be less hassle if I went for the version with wardrobes. I paid a deposit and arranged for James to come down to Brighton and take actual measurements of the room. The order went in and my wall bed was delivered and fitted about six weeks later. I now have a spare room which I can use as a dressing room, a wardrobe and an office (there's a fold down desk attached to the bed which I can use when the bed's not in use). In fact, what I do is give up my main bedroom when people come to stay and sleep in the Murphy bed myself, it's like being a kid again and means I keep all my stuff in the back bedroom and bathroom and I don't have to keep it too clean and tidy! I now have room for a sofa in my main bedroom which feels very luxurious because before it was full of clothes storage! I love service I got, I love the wardrobes, and I love the bed, I also love the fact that my flat feels bigger and less cluttered. James understood my needs, he wasn't in the slightest bit pushy and he got the job done in the agreed time frame for the agreed price. This is a perfect solution to a problem I've had for 15 years.
