I walked in, he greeted me in a very pleasant way and asked to see what needed fixing. He quickly assessed the issue, told me the time it would take, and let me know of the cost. I sat in the waiting room and he went out to the shop to start working on my vehicle. There were more workers in the shop and they all seemed to be focused on their individual tasks while communicating with one another, which is always good to see. The employees were all cleanly dressed and the shop appeared to be clean and organized. As I sat waiting, the phone rang several times and other customers came in. I was incredibly impressed with the way that Tom handled the phone calls, customers and my windshield all within the promised time frame stated at the beginning of my visit! (Ok, so he was a couple of minutes over, but he explained to me that they weren't pleased with the way the fix was going and they were trying something different.) The fix ended up being perfect! I love good customer service and an obviously efficiently run business when I come across one and will let everyone know when that happens. My husband has had work done on the windshield on his vehicle at this shop and was very impressed also. We will recommend any windshield or glass needs to Speedy in Lacombe any day of the week!(except weekends :-))

I was called as soon as the part was in and was able to get the car in to finish the repair fast and efficient which was what I needed. The repair took less time than I was told. I couldn't believe it when Karla informed me I'd get a brand new bumper free, painted free. Thank you so much for making it right and going wven further to help me. I so appreciate it and I wont go anywhere else for body work. Boyd definetely stands by their work. If you have an issue, just talk to them about it-chances are they will make it right again.

Well I wish I could be writing a good review rather then a negative one however my experience was…read morenot a good one. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone but their work was terrible. I needed to replace a large sealed double pained skylight so I gave them a call. It was around a thousand dollars for the unit. They showed up on a rainy day and installed it leaving calking visible all around the skylight itself. I say skylight but it isn't a domed skylight more of a large window on a slanted roof. Anyway it looked terrible but It didn't bother me too much as I figured I could just get up there when I had time and clean it up myself. However a year passed and I still hadn't gone up to do it and after the snow melted I seen a huge crack coming from the edge of the sealed unit on the inside pane of glass. There is no way the damage could have happened after the fact as it's on the inside as I mentioned and starts out of the very edge. It was very clear that it was damaged when they installed it and the cold carried the crack into the middle of the glass like a car windshield. They must have bumped it or hit it when transporting it or when lifting it onto the roof. I called to tell them about it and they informed me that the window only had a one year warranty. I said the window maybe but you guys damaged it when installing it and its very clear that that is the case. They refused to take responsibility even though I told them about the poor job putting it in and I encouraged them to come and look for themselves. They declined and simply offered to put in a new one at full price and even told me I'd have to pay the 300 install fee as well. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, I know I will be. Shame on you Central Alberta Glass, very disappointed.
