Well I wish I could be writing a good review rather then a negative one however my experience was not a good one. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone but their work was terrible. I needed to replace a large sealed double pained skylight so I gave them a call. It was around a thousand dollars for the unit. They showed up on a rainy day and installed it leaving calking visible all around the skylight itself. I say skylight but it isn't a domed skylight more of a large window on a slanted roof. Anyway it looked terrible but It didn't bother me too much as I figured I could just get up there when I had time and clean it up myself. However a year passed and I still hadn't gone up to do it and after the snow melted I seen a huge crack coming from the edge of the sealed unit on the inside pane of glass. There is no way the damage could have happened after the fact as it's on the inside as I mentioned and starts out of the very edge. It was very clear that it was damaged when they installed it and the cold carried the crack into the middle of the glass like a car windshield. They must have bumped it or hit it when transporting it or when lifting it onto the roof. I called to tell them about it and they informed me that the window only had a one year warranty. I said the window maybe but you guys damaged it when installing it and its very clear that that is the case. They refused to take responsibility even though I told them about the poor job putting it in and I encouraged them to come and look for themselves. They declined and simply offered to put in a new one at full price and even told me I'd have to pay the 300 install fee as well. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, I know I will be. Shame on you Central Alberta Glass, very disappointed. read more
