Our daughter attended this studio with her friend who's mom is a dance instructor here... she absolutely loves her dance instructor and spent months working on her dance, even putting other activities she loves on hold to dedicate her time. The day of her performance, i dropped her off with her instructor and just a few short hours later she called me crying saying that the stage manager, Kelly Osbourne was so rude and was making other kids cry by yelling at them and forcing them to stay in small rooms where the heat was unbearable. My daughter told me that the heat was getting to her and I told her to leaving the building to get fresh air but she said she was terrified that Kelly would yell at her and she just wanted me to come get her. I encouraged her to stick it out since she had worked so hard. In talking to other adults that were there, I learned that another member also needed air do to some breathing issues and when she stepped towards a door for air she was accosted by Kelly telling her to get backstage, even stomping her foot at her and saying "I said NOW".... This was told to an ADULT!!! I can not imagine just how she was treating our children if she was speaking to an adult with breathing issues like this. This was my daughters first experience with dance and I know this will be her last due to the experience she endured here. I would NOT by any means recommend this studio to ANYONE especially those with young children.

However, classes should be priced a little lower due to the fact that you more than likely share a pole with other girls, the instructors to intro to pole and beginners are NOT professional (or seem to have the knowledge of) pole dancers. I have been to a location in another state and we were taught NOT to do certain things the way you are taught here due to possibly injuring yourself. Most things that should be corrected are said 'whatever is comfortable to you' Your classes can be cancelled at any given time to fit their (instructors) schedule. Majority of the time, the classes (beginners) are booked and you are often told to still show up Incase some people don't show. There are times where people will be on a couch waiting and you feel uncomfortable as if you're being watched. There is no a/c in the warehouse so the door would have to be open if you want cool air. Luckily, it's behind the winco. I give this place a 2. The woman Shallan is the owner and very sweet. However, I feel her students take advantage of her position and authority. Shallan and the instructors are the reason why this place gets three stars. Even though they have all these cons, they have pretty good customer service, keep a smile on their face, motivating and their restroom is always clean. I personally feel that It's not fair if you pay a monthly membership at an unchanged rate and the chances of you getting a full work out is 50/50 due to their class of 2 to a pole. The costumes, the staging, the variety of experience and the range of ages of the dancers are so well showcased by this ballet company -- with so many charming performances and talented dancers. The space is small and intimate, which makes shows feel personal and special, for very affordable prices! The talent is amazing!!! And the performers really know how to connect with the audience in a natural, easy way. The energy in the room is great, and just being there I felt pure joy. I left smiling, from such a pleasurable experience! If you love live shows with heart, and High Level talent, Camelot Theater is a great place to go! I learned about the Oregon Shakespeare festival in Ashland, OR by chance. Because my wife is a…read morehuge, huge fan of MacBeth...I moved heaven and earth to attend the last weekends presentation of MacBeth. We literally drove 1000 miles, round trip, to see the performance. It was amazing ! They added their own flourishes and inspiration to bring to life the tragedy unlike we've (my wife and I) ever seen on stage. It was complete! I only say this because some stage renditions minimize the witches...not so in this professional world class production! In addition to every word in the play...there was an amazing use of lights, sound effects, and in some instances dance. Did I mention, the acting was amazing!? World class!! As I mentioned, I learned about the festival very late in the season which starts mid-late spring every year. There were other Shakespeare plays being brought to life...in a theater that looked like the Globe...there were monologues in an outdoor area in front of the two theaters...there was a lot going on and a lot we missed because of how unprepared our visit was. Our goals was to see MacBeth which we accomplished but we missed a lot! In my opinion, it's best to plan a visit as a 4 day weekend. One of my motivations for attending this year is that MacBeth isn't produced every year, according to my friend to told me about the festival in the first place...all of Shakespeares work is explored here and on rotation...for example my favorite, Hamlet hasn't been produced in over 10yrs according to the lovely folks at the official souvenir shop of the festival...Romeo and Juliet not since 2018....they told us not to expect a MacBeth production for at least 8yrs! If you're on the west coast and you love Shakespeare and want to see works other than the tragedies on stage...I doubt you'll find a better organization/venue/location that wholeheartedly embraces Shakespeare than the town of Ashland and the the University of Southern Oregon! On last note, everyone from the ushers to those at the refreshment stand in our theater were nothing but lovely. I could say that about everyone in town as well. Just a great experience !
