The Thibeault family…read moreused to run the gym, and they were really nice people because they let me work out until they closed for the day, but they never rushed me. My mom would joke with them, and they were fun. Their daughter was a ski racer, although I never saw her ski. I think she was really good at it. I also remember people that used to work there, like Phil Shaw, who's well known for his exploits in cross country skiing. It used to be a motel back in the 60's, well before my time, but it turned into a gym in the 90's. It was nice back in the 90's too, but it's a really beautiful gym now. It's funny because I've had some issues with some gyms, but this one gave me a chance to write about my situation and didn't fall into the trap of other gyms. Ever since that crappy gym in Canmore, that I don't want to mention, I've had trouble at every gym except this one, and Énergie Cardio in St Jerome. I'm not sure if that gym in St Jerome still exists, but I enjoyed myself there too. The Interclub is nice because they have different businesses under one roof. There's a massage therapist upstairs, a Crossfit room downstairs and a cafe on the main floor, where they have all sorts of healthy options. The main gym is called Centre Fusion. They also have studios where one can use a spin bike when there are no classes in session. They used to have a hair salon on the main floor as well in the old part of the building, although things might have changed there too. I know they have a sauna connected to the locker room, which is always nice after a workout. Last but not least, they have 6 indoor tennis courts. They are very nice, even though I didn't play there much. My mom and I used the outdoors courts behind the church in Saint Sauveur. Anyway, I have no problem giving this gym 5 stars. The gym also has a nice view of the 117 secondary highway, and there's plenty of parking in front and in back. If I'm ever in the area and I'm in the mood for a workout, I'd love to go back there. It's by far the best gym in the area.

If there were anything lower than one star…read more.. This gym also sells clothing online (which is how I came across them). First, when I paid for the item the website said it was a problem and that no money had come out of my account. Seconds later, I got an email saying that money HAD come from my account. That should have been the first sign that things were about to go south. I sent an email to clear it up, and they say no problem. Order is in processing. Okay. Now, they apparently have this strange policy of separately billing customers for shipping (after initially charging taxes and/or fees on the item). I got a separate billing email for $20 extra. Once I got over my confusion at the separate bill, I did a little math. I decided that the final cost was much too high so I tried to cancel the order (the item in question was already being sold at half their price on other sites. I went with them because I liked the color the offered). What followed was a slew of emails telling me that sales were final, I had to pay the shipping, that paypal would rule in their favor (with an attachment of a whole bunch of emails from alleged previous customers who'd had the same experience. This I find unethical, as there are case numbers and details in those emails about other customers, that I as a customer should not be privy). One of the final emails was full of insults, with the person 'Jack' calling me thick headed and telling me to learn how to read English. He also demanded a final time that I just pay the shipping fees and just move on. I've never had such an experience with any business, ever. This was nearly insane. I found this yelp page because 'Jack' included the name of the business owner in all those other Paypal transactions/disputes with other customers in my email. Completely unfortunate, from the first email to the last. Buyer beware.
