His images capture the spirit of our events and eliminate the contrived photos that are typical of awards ceremonies and outdoor events. He is extremely professional, and non-intrusive while interacting with guests. And he provides our photos quickly so we can send them out to our community in a timely manner. Andie truly made our wedding planning process a dream come true…read more We were lucky enough to shoot our engagement photos with Andie at Mount Baker in Washington State. My husband who is normally very uncomfortable with taking photos felt so at ease working with Andie. She is so easy going and provided such a safe space to work during her sessions. We only got about halfway through our session when it started raining and we were covered in clouds forcing us to end the shoot early. Andie being the gem that she is offered to do a sunrise shoot for us at a secondary location the next day before she left town. This completely turned around what would have been an unfortunate situation and we loved the shots we got at the secondary location! Fast forward to our wedding planning process and my husband and I knew we wouldn't want anyone other than Andie to capture our day. We brought up the idea of an elopement in the Dolomites and she immediately said yes. She was only going to have three days to fit this in and she still agreed! Leading up to the trip she set up calls to discuss locations, planned out timelines and conducted tons of research to make our days as as smooth as possible! By the end of the trip we ended up shooting at over six different locations all throughout the Dolomites. Although the weather in September is thought to be the most predictable we found that to be incorrect during our time there. A week before our elopement a snowstorm brought in over a foot of snow. Andie was super flexible and went along with a constantly changing timeline with the goal of getting as many locations in as we could while the weather was nice. Andie became a member of the family this trip, even joining us outside of shooting times. That's just how incredible of a person she is, every member of my family enjoyed her so much we wanted to include her in everything! I could go on and on about how our trip would not have been the same without her, and now we have photos to cherish for the rest of our lives. She even was able to get our gallery back to us in a month, after shooting at that many locations. We got sneak peaks back within days and were completely shocked at her turnaround time even with her busy schedule. I adore these photos, but as his third birthday approached, my heart was searching for something different. He's not a "sit and smile" kinda boy. He's wild and colorful.. a rainbow that injects creativity into my life. His personality is hard to put into words, but I can SEE it, and I wanted someone to capture *that*. Kelly was the photographer who captured his rainbow blur. Before she arrived, she already had a vision in her head.. a couple of times, I heard her talking through the ideas she had thoughtfully written down. I'm curious as to when those ideas entered her mind.. I dunno!
