Josie is such a pro. She did our newborn photos back in June. I had to cancel our appointment with last minute, as we had to take baby back to the hospital for one night. Josie was super flexible and worked with us to reschedule. Throughout the session, Josie handled our little guy with the utmost care. I was really impressed with how gentle and patient she was. Josie recently shot some photos of me to give to by fiancé as a wedding gift. I should first start by saying that I am extremely picky when it comes to photographers and In particular their editing styles. As a graphic designer myself, I know the look of a poorly executed touch up. Josie completely exceeded my expectations. Josie is such a wonderful photographer and came highly recommended! It is always so awkward for my husband and I to take pictures, but she made us feel so comfortable and our pictures turned out great. Her communication was always super quick and replied to us almost always within an hour or much less! I also need to mention that she is a soldier and a woman of her word! She had been fighting the flu but I would have had no idea during our session. She's so professional and incorporated all of our random props. After seeing pictures posted from one of my girlfriend's sessions with Josie, I was very impressed with her style. Josie is extremely professional and timely. She was easy to get a hold of and negotiate with to book a very last-minute maternity photoshoot. The studio set up was nice; she made it very comfortable and captured some beautiful shots during a time that is very intimate and sometimes even vulnerable. I got my photos the next day (extremely timely!) and I'm very happy with the results. Because she is so popular, her schedule was quite booked on the day of my shoot. Josie did both a boudoir photo-shoot and shot our local reception after my Husband and I eloped in Italy. For the individual session, she made what could have been super awkward, much easier, spent extra time prepping me (something that wasn't built into the timeframe, but she did anyway), and had the images to me well within the timeframe communicated. As a new parent we didn't think much into newborn pictures until we had a newborn in our hands. I was worried that we had waited to long to make an appointment to take newborn photos even though I had been looking at photos from Sunnymelon for a while now. At the last minute I emailed Sunnymelon to make an appointment, Josie was super quick to respond and was able to fit us into her schedule the next day. We showed up to her studio and everything was ready to go. Our photo session was great, the little one never woke up once. Josie was able to keeping sleeping the whole time with her amazing tricks.
