First I want to say love furniture world and very appreciative of Tristan. Very disappointed in the owner and how they handled business and mis representation I went into their store Sunday 2/15 and saw the midnight madness sofa with chaise and loved it and the manager told me to go home chat with husband and then give him a call by end of day 2/16 to make sure I got the deal! So that's what I did. I went home and husband and I decided to place order so I then went to the website to get sku number for the one I wanted and came to learn the extended version (so I thought) the one with 2 chaise and armless seat in middle was only $100 ish more so I decided to do that one instead of the smaller one since it was little to upgrade and I even clarified over the phone with sales guy it's the right one and it was, well I then dug deeper to get measurements just to see how we would put it in our home and my husband said these measurements do not match the picture at all. So I came back into the store and the representative called owner and then the owner said no we can't do anything but upgrade for $200 off and I am very frustrated because it was not a price deal for me it was being misrepresented and then the company asking for more money from me. My family and I need furniture so we just went with smaller couch so we can get it in quickly as I am pregnant. Very happy with Tristan service very disappointed that the owner is so money hungry. They should have made it right and matched what I paid and gave me the product that was represented especially because I was in store customer advised to go to website to get sku and I paid in full. That being said once I receive my order I will not be giving furniture world my business again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to come here. read more

Updating my review. The owner of this business called me not long after my review and addressed our issues with our order quickly and took ownership of the situation. I really appreciate his efforts to correct the situation quickly and address our problem and apologize for the delays. It goes a long ways when a business and their leadership takes accountability for staff not always communicating well. He located our chairs and ensured they were delivered the next day. So I previously left a 5 star review for my experience here. One major selling point with 3 small kids was 5 year warranty to replace pieces. Well. That's a sham. A lie. A hoax. We have attempted to contact both the store and the site. Called dozens of times, emailed, gone to the website to try to make a claim... Nada. Please don't be fooled by purchasing furniture if peace of mind for a replacement piece is part of your hunt. Wow! I went into the store with my husband to purchase furniture. First we are concerned aboutCovid 19 & saw the so called assistant manager Sharity was wearing a mask that was sparkles but was not a true mask. It was just open and not protecting anyone. Sharity showed us the Flexsteel and assured us it was the best on the market and was the strongest. We were told she could work a good discount for us and as soon as we found out they were electric she said she would throw in a battery pack for each piece since my husband was concerned about what to do if we lost electric..... She was friendly and we were happy until it was done. When we realized no battery packs were included we confronted her. She said that she gave us a good deal on the price that she could not do both. My husband and i were disturbed since we were told we would get both! Then after the furniture was delivered we saw there was a white scratch on the inside of the real leather recliner. When I called I spoke to Sunni who explained she was the manager. Even though Sharity said she was. Either way, we did explain to Sunni about the scratch as well as the lies about the battery packs that was promised to us. Sunni asked me to take pictures and email her and asked to explain about the battery packs in the email so she can talk to the owners. She assured me that Sharity would not know about the complaint. So I emailed pictures as well as explained what happen. 3 days later at 9 am Sharity calls to comfront me on speaker saying " I thought you were happy and had a good experience with me". I was beside myself that she would call to confront me & argue. I tolf her we were upset about the battery packs that we were told would be included. Then it was silent and the phone disconnected. Then all of a sudden she calls back several times!!! What the hell????? How can you harrass someone because they are not happy about the lies they were told & how can the owners allow their employees to confront or harrass customer. Wow what a big mistake I made buying from that place. With all that upsetting drama and lies...... Now I worry that I was lied to about the furniture as well..... Great no returns???? I had very high hopes for furniture world after shopping around and finding them to be one of the retailers in my area that sells the catnapper brand. Late October 2019 I called furniture world and placed an order over the phone for a 3 piece catnapper set to include recliner, love seat & sofa. The style and color I selected was not in store and had to be ordered and would take 6-8 weeks. As Christmas approached I began calling the store to check on my order. I was informed mid December my salesman, Alex had been fired. Now another employee, Sharity would be taking over for Alex. There was some back & forth before I was finally told they had 2/3 of my set. They could deliver what they have and do the haul away now and deliver the recliner once it arrives. That sounded like a grey idea at the time. We had the new sofa & love seat delivered and they were apologetic for Alex while they were putting it together. The holidays come and go. I am calling the store almost weekly to see where the recliner is. I am told it is in transit multiple times. Now, catnapper is an American company so it shouldn't take more than a few days in transit to arrive from anywhere in the US right!? January and February go by and we enter quarantine time. I waited about 2 months into phase 2 (August 2020- 10 months after purchase) before calling to check on the remainder of my order. First I speak to someone named Sunny, I explain the situation and she passes me off to Sharity. At this time I am told that due to covid my order from last October has been delayed. And now the item is no longer available. They can get something similar but it will take a really long time for manufacturing/shipping. I asked why an illness we were not even aware existed until at least January is the excuse for delay of an order placed in October? I was reminded that Alex was the salesman and he got fired. I asked for my refund. And I also pointed out that not only do they owe me a refund but they owe me a recliner since they disposed of mine when they told me my new one was on the truck in transit (so that was a lie if the item can't even be made anymore). Then a male employee who said he works in the warehouse got on the phone-- he told me he had just unboxed a new catnapper recliner similar in style and color to what I ordered. I politely declined. At this point I am over furniture world and the interest free loan they took from me. After some more back and forth with Sunny, at one point she had the audacity to get an attitude at me after I playfully said "one" after she told me "one second" she even thought she had me on hold while she griped and complained about me to someone. Which I overheard and started being g loud and I was put on hold. I did get my refund but I am still missing a recliner. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else! read more

I was having a heck of a time finding a grey colored sectional, even after going to numerous furniture stores. The problem I kept running into was stores either had such small selection in their showrooms that they only carried the more expensive pieces or their selection was reminiscent of what would be in your grandmother's living room. No thanks. After nearly giving up, I happen to spot the Furniture World sign while driving by downtown Chehalis and decided to stop in. Their selection is awesome. They have three floors of furniture, and a good selection in all price ranges. They had a lot of nice modern pieces, and even some classic, so I was happy with what I was able to see and sit on. After perusing their store I settled on a really nice Ashley sectional that was an amazing bargain, and delivery was very reasonable. Since I was in the midst of moving, and the couch was for my new house, they had me call when I was ready for the couch. I called about a week afte purchasing the couch and they were able to deliver it the next day. Two delivery men showed up exactly as promised, carefully delivered my couch, set it up where I wanted it, carried out the packing material and even put the legs on it for me. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'll definitely be back to Furniture World for any other furniture I need in the future. read more

This is a great furniture store located in the old Sears building. They have a great variety of chairs, couches, tables, beds, ottomans, etc at reasonable prices. If they don't have it, they can check to see if they can order something. Staff has always been a great help. read more

My GF and I had been shopping all day for a lift-chair. After visiting several stores, we came into Furniture World, and met Kati Arthurs. What a nice, helpful, patient young lady! We already knew what chair we wanted. She gave us the best price of all the other stores, with no hidden charges, and didn't pressure us, like so many salespeople are prone to do. Our chair was delivered as promised, on time, by two professional young men. It works perfectly. We were looking for a TV stand and we stopped there a few days ago. We talked with them on the phone and they gave a sale's price of $349.00 on the TV Stand that we liked. We went back today to bring it home and when we quoted them the price they gave us over the phone; the sales people in the store walked away and started helping other people waiting. The blond is obvious the manager; said she would be sure of the price and would look it up online instead ignored us completely. If this is the Customer Service in this store we can do without purchasing anything there and we will NEVER go back. We are telling everyone about our experience there. We ordered a TV stand from Amazon and it will be delivered right to our door. Do NOT have to put up with the attitude problems here. The people that operate this store are nothing but a joke. My mother suggests this store doesn't even deserve 1 star. We ordered dresser and mirror they brought it in the day they said they would but the top drawer had a huge crack. They promised to replace it with another one. However it's been a year never got a replaced drawer back. So paid for an expensive drawer set with a broken drawer. read more

Oh, and I had to call to ask if it was in and remind them it was for delivery. 1/5 stars is pretty generous. Don't shop here. --- The store is nice enough with a good selection and decent prices. On the other side, I ordered a couch from them around a month ago. When I ordered, they said it would be ready to deliver within two weeks. I've called back multiple times and they keep telling me it'll be ready in another week. I wouldn't have a problem if I had known the delivery time would be a month or more up front, but continuing to push it back without ever letting me know is frustrating. I was so hopeful when we found our couch. We paid on Friday and was told we made the cut off time and it would be in on Tuesday. Whoop !! We got a call about an hour later saying they messed up on price and it was actually 1400 not the 900 we paid. Since they made the mistake they said we could have it if we paid another 130 via phone. I guess their mistake also meant it didn't make the truck. Of course no one called on Tuesday. We finally called them.... it would be the next Tuesday. Ugh. Another week goes by and no call. We finally called the next day. " the truck was suppose to be here 3 minutes ago at 10 am, we'll call you " needless to say, no call. At 4 pm we called again. It finally showed up. We went in the next day to pick it up. Brought it home and they ordered the wrong one. Was suppose to be triple power but only had the electric foot lift.....we called back to find out what the problem was. She was looking into it..... it's been a week and no return call.
