Not a good experience at all. Ordered a complete bedroom and office set at the beginning of June 2023. It is now mid November and three delivery attempts later. The first time in September, half of the office furniture was badly damaged and had to be returned. The second time in October, they delivered the wrong furniture. The third time, the furniture was badly damaged upon delivery. Very frustrating. If I'm lucky, the fourth delivery attempt will be before Christmas, and I have zero confidence my furniture will actually be delivered correctly and undamaged. I will never purchase from Furniture Row ever again. Furniture is decent enough, they just can't seem to get things delivered timely or correctly. read more

Dont Get suckered into the extended warranty. The couch had so many problems. within a week a large board broke and was pushing out of the fabric. Staples poking out everywhere. We called and talked to furniture row about all this as its covered in the warranty along with the extended warranty. Oh sorry. We dont do warranty on what we sale. We only sale. call the makers of the couch. We will not be buying from furniture row ever again. As amazon couches our friends have came in and with no problems. Years later. AND for a warranty on a bed you have to leave a bed cover on it for 10 years. LMAO. so i dont get to use my 2k bed for 10 years because i have to feel a bed cover on it. like i wet to bed or something. Place is a joke. read more

We bought a rug a month ago and I got talked into the warranty, which comes with unlimited carpet stain cleaner. The sales person was nice, although it takes a bit to get someone's attention sometimes there. But what I'm most amazed about is that my puppy just threw up green/yellow bile on the new rug, and I was absolutely certain I'd have to file a claim bc that neon stain wasn't going to come out... BUT I put that cleaner on it couple of times and soaked it up with paper-towels, and IT'S GONE! I can't believe it, seriously! On a white and grey carpet! I had to write a review bc that was such a surprise. Not sure how the warranty claims turn out, but if this stuff keeps working, I don't plan on finding out. : ) read more

Purchased a large sectional couch from the fort Wayne store in 2019 . The spring of 2020 the stitching began coming out of kne of the seams . We Purchased a extended warranty. Called the store and the warranty company several times now and still have not received any help on getting this issue fixed . read more

Got talked into taking out the warranty that is good for absolutely nothing. First filed a claim because the brace came loose from the frame causing the drawers to the trundle to randomly pop open. They said it wasn't covered because it was a manufacturing defect and only accidents were covered. Filed a claim because my son rolled out of bed and stepped in the drawer. Now they are saying this isn't covered either because it only covers limited accidental damages and not intentional damages. Anything to take your money and screw you over. read more

This is a sad story that a neighbor and his wife had started a few years ago, to find the perfect sofa. That mission took them some months and included going to just about every furniture store in Fort Wayne, seriously, nearly everyone one. Along the way he went to a second hand store, and in doing so happened to see Sofa Mart and Furniture Row. Sofa Mart features nothing but sofa and couches as the name implies. The salespeople are friendly and personable, since they don't work on commission. But probably they have a store sales quota they have to meet, if they want to work there. Also they aren't aggressive or overbearing like the people at Sears or Ashley Furniture. He ended up finding a three-cushion sofa and ottoman that they really liked along with a TV stand for a new 42-inch LED television. The price was reasonable and in fact, they were having a sale, I wonder why? So that was even better. Also a free, really free?,,, no interest for 12 months plan they offered. Like many cheap ass furniture stores, Sofa Mart doesn't keep much of an inventory on hand. So most everything you purchase will have to be delivered from their warehouse. This usually takes a couple of weeks. One week for shipping parts, along with a couple of days for an 18 year old with an electric drill, to screw the pre-drilled parts together. So now the bad news... When their new sofa was delivered a few weeks later it didn't fit down the basement stairs. The TV stand was delivered successfully and setup, but still no sofa. Heading back to Sofa Mart they where cornered into buying the love seat version of the sofa. Which was one third the size and almost the same price. Well surprise, surprise, surprise he was not very happy about this. The great guys, who are commission free salesman, could only follow store policies. There was nothing he could do. A few weeks later the love seat was delivered and setup. It looked great and was happy to finally have the basement living room setup. The sofa in his option was comfortable and seemed well built... but those illusions would soon fade... They've now owned the sofa and ottoman for about three years now and they have not worn well. They've worn really poorly in fact. The sofa sags in the middle and the fabric is peeling and coming apart. The fabric has become discolored in a lot of places, darker then it used to be, almost as if something was spilled on it but we've never spilled anything on it. No pets have been on it and they don't have kids, so most of the time it's just been the two of them using it. And now the embarrassing part that got his wife kind of mad. A few of us came over watching T.V. Playing pool on his table, when one sort of noticed the above complaints. In the basement, his "love sofa" has a sage in the middle. The fabric is sort of peeling along the head rest area. And the ottoman, sort of like one foot laying on it. The other leg hooked over the head rest area. What are those discolored places? Other problems... one of the feet on the ottoman fell off pretty early on and I had to reattach it. There was also a problem with the TV stand we which I saw early on and should have done something about. The front of the TV stand has two glass paned cupboards and the cupboards were never even. One of the cupboards is quite a bit off and not at all level with the other one. This doesn't bother me much, but I really should have asked them to call and send another one. The thought of calling them and waiting another two weeks for a new stand to arrive or taking that one back and ordering a new one just didn't seem like something he wanted to do though. So I decided to fix it for free. The furniture they purchased at Sofa Mart should not have been that low of quality. That family paid a god amount of money for a sofa, ottoman and TV stand and they expected the quality to be a lot better. read more

Recently moved and needed some essential furniture. Mark greeted me as I entered the store and asked what I was looking for and my budget. I found a great piece, and he said that usually they have to order it. But, he understood that I needed it immediately. He arranged it to be sold off the floor. I needed to return some other items too, later, and there was no problem. I will definitely come here first, in the future. read more

I've not purchased anything in recent years from this lace but an event I saw involving one of their delivery trucks shocked me into writing a review. Last night I was walking out to get the mail and I heard the sound of a truck and it struck me as odd. I live in a Sycamore Lakes in SW Fort Wayne and my home is on a corner which has 4 way stop signs. Anyone guess where this is going? The sound I heard was a rumbling delivery truck moving at a fairly good clip, I turn towards the intersection of 4 way stop signs and a Furniture Row delivery truck. Lows through the intersection!!!! No braking whatsoever! Thank God no children or cars were there, it would not have ended well. So, Furniture Row, if you are reading this please check your delivery schedule for Thursday, November 29 for Sycamore Lakes and talk to the driver, please. read more

The delivery of the furniture was fine. They even came early, which I appreciated. The problem lies with the salesman. My husband and I were told that if we paid for the furniture "in full" when it was ordered, the delivery and set up would be free of charge. When the furniture arrived and we made plans for delivery, we were told that it had to be paid in advance to the tune of $157.14. I was speaking with the original salesman and I told him that he told us the delivery would be free. He hummed and hawed, something about the delivery was "sub-contracted" and had to be paid. I accused him of lying to us and he had no response because, of course, he had lied. My advice: either get any offers IN WRITING or simply don't do business with them. I will never do business with them again. They lie! read more

I am very happy I am moving to Chicago, as I will have many more options and will not have to deal with these people ever again. They give you misinformation and do not communicate with each other. My mother, staying out here, will have to find somewhere else to drop all her money when she needs furniture. Experience #1: In January we went in to fully furnish a living room and bedroom. As one could imagine, this cost us a pretty penny. One of the chairs we ordered was a "custom order" to get the color my mother wanted. We were told this would take an extra two weeks, so we put off delivery by that long to have everything at once. When we got our delivery (this had meant us sitting on dining room chairs in the meantime) the chair was nowhere to be seen. We call the company and are informed that special orders take SIX weeks, so we had waited the extra two for nothing. Finally, we have everything a month later. Three or four weeks later the "special order" chair (a recliner) would not recline properly. The foot part would come up but not lock in position. They came and "fixed" it. It will lock in position now, but you have to get it at just the right angle and fight it a bit while pushing just enough on the back.. What a relaxing way to sit back and enjoy our recliner. The other one we got for half the price at an unnamed big warehouse store works fantastically. Experience #2: We thought maybe the chair problem last time was a fluke, and they were having their Labor Day sale so we figured we would go back. Again, furnishing a whole living room and Bedroom (I am moving and the furniture we ordered before was for my mother's house). Again, spending a great deal of money. I placed my order and set up for delivery. Delivery day comes, and I have them put the new furniture directly into the trailer we are using to move. I notice the coffee table is not the correct one (COMPLETELY different than what we wanted), and the delivery person agrees, tells us the correct one will arrive that week (last week). It did not come, so I call the store to find out when it will arrive. They have no idea a table was not delivered. After a bunch of confusion and attitude from the guy "helping" me, it is determined that the salesman rang up the wrong coffee table, actually a "cocktail table." I don't understand how this happened, as I had taken a picture of the correct tag and showed it to him when he was ringing me up. I asked about the correct table, and was told they are on back-order until NOVEMBER. Had we been told that, we would have gone somewhere else to take advantage of other Labor Day sales. Now I'm about to move, and with all the planning I had done to have my house furnished when I move, I will have no coffee table AND have to add in shopping for another among all the other things taking up my time for the move. Plus, I missed out on other Labor Day sales in the meantime. This place is not worth it, for the price or the customer service. My mother will now go anywhere but here to get furniture in the future. She's actually about to fully furnish a guest room now that I'm moving out, so she's looking at other stores to find what she wants. read more

Manager says delivery guys have worked too much overtime this week. It will be another 4 days before my bed base will be delivered. I've spent a week sleeping on mattresses on the floor. Prices were reasonable and we were able to find what we were looking for. Went to almost every furniture store in N/NE Fort Wayne area and Furniture Row had the best selection. My husband and I went in for a new mattress and came out with a whole new bedroom. The staff was super friendly and helpful. First off we ordered about 9k worth of furniture from them. The moving company who was hired to put it in damaged quite a few pieces. That being said you would think Furniture Row would be understanding and willing to help remedy the problem. We reported the damages to the store and an employee who had to come out the next day and finish putting all the furniture together because the movers were incompetent. Said employee even took pictures of the damage to the furniture and our new house the movers caused. No return calls or anything from Furniture Row. We had to contact them several weeks later and were told the part was on order and that the manager was on vacation that week and he was sorry about it. Still, 4 weeks later and we've heard nothing about new part or when it's getting fixed. Buy your home furnishings elsewhere folks! And either hire some kids you know well or do your research on who the company uses. Absolutely ridiculous that a company treats customers this way. UNACCEPTABLE, period! read more

Excellent service! Never been here previously, but will certainly return. Purchased new bed and living room set. Was so impressed with Susie and Roger. Extremely helpful exactly when I needed them and left us alone when necessary. I was pleasantly surprised at the great pricing and selection. Almost too much to choose from! Haven't received furniture yet, so can't speak to durability, but quality appears to be good. Susie was awesome, and directed us to new bed that was on clearance, and didn't pressure us to purchase a more expensive model. Definitely not your typical high-pressure furniture store. Was completely happy with our shopping experience. So nice to deal with professional and courteous sales staff! read more

Ordered a loft bed for my youngest daughter that has been her dream wish. We were told 1-2 weeks for delivery when we paid in early March - very happy at this point in time. At the two week mark we had not heard anything from the Sales Rep or the business itself. When I called to check on the order, I was finally informed that the bed was on back order until MAY. No phone calls, no sense of urgency to make it right. When I pressed the issue with the Sales Rep, asking what can be done - that I would even take the floor display as a last resort, his reply was he was going to talk to the Store Manager and get back with me. NO return calls. Two days later - I called again asking about his findings. Listening to the responses given on the phone, NOTHING had been done that had been promised. I once again asked for the floor model as a last resort and he hadn't even discussed that option with the Store Manager yet. Ten minutes later I received a call back saying they found one in Layafette (surprise) and it would be shipped out on Monday and they would inspect it in the store on Wednesday. I called again 24 hrs later as I received no updates about the inspection results and to have the delivery scheduled as promised - just to be informed that it hasn't even made it to the store yet and MIGHT be in tomorrow. Not acceptable anymore. You make a commitment to a customer - you find a way to make it happen or you at the very minimum CALL them to discuss the situation. NOT make the customer call you to get an update. I am a Customer Service Manager in my career and have been highly disappointed with the service that we have received thus far from Furniture Row. read more

Because social media is the best way to really get your disgust for a business out to the public, I'm doing so right now. If I ever hear of anyone wanting to purchase furniture in Fort Wayne, I will immediately narrow their plentiful options and beg them to not even think of going to #sofamart. Worst customer service I have ever received from day 1. As soon as the furniture was delivered (which was a fiasco in and of itself) it's as if all correspondence and customer service was out the window. After 6 months of use we noticed a small hole in the couch that is rarely used. Thankfully we purchased a pricey warranty that we were told would cover the cost of repair or replacement. No!!! After emails and sending a claim, the warranty company #greatwhitebottling (that #Sofamart claimed was amazing, refuses to help us whatsoever due to the fact the pictures show everyday wear & tear, not an accidental puncture. What??!!! The best part of my experience so far was the shopping part of my experience. Had a really nice guy that was not pushy at all and didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't want or need he help when we asked for it and left us alone the rest of the time. That, unfortunately, was around a month ago maybe longer and now I'm making payments of something I have not seen yet and haven't been given any notification on when we might be seeing it. I've had to call in to fix my name because it was misspelled, this was not something I was bent out of shape about stuff happens, but I was disappointed to find out that my stuff was put on back order and I was not notified. I called in again after receiving a bill inquiring about why I was getting billed for product that hasn't been delivered and was told I have to pay my bills on time or receive a penalty and that my product was not going to be in for another 2 months. Now instead of having our furniture in 3 weeks looks like we are going to get it in 3 months......or at least I hope. At this point in time I'm going to wait but I'm strongly considering returning the furniture if it gets pushed back again without notifying me. It's one thing to have supply issues and have to push orders back but to do it multiply times without any kind of notification is outrageous. Will NOT be coming back! read more

Had an incredibly bad experience here. Ordered furniture (including a bed for my daughter) that they estimated would be delivered in 7-10 days. Delayed to late January without telling me. Then delayed to March without telling me. Only found out because I periodically called. Offered me someone else's damaged return as a substitute until my furniture arrived. Lost all confidence that my furniture would ever actually arrive, so finally cancelled the order. Emailed, Tweeted the company looking for help. No response. Cost them $3,400. Been buying furniture there for years. Will not be back. read more
