We found what we wanted, paid IN FULL, and asked them to hold them in store, until we cleared out our bedroom. I also called during the week to check on them, because I had a funny feeling. The girl who works at the store and who picks up the phone would not even check and told me "oh, I am sure they are still in the back of the store, we have very few customers ." Suspicious and her uncaring attitude upset me, but also the owner himself is quite abrupt. And the, as I said, WE HAD ALREADY PAID IN FULL. So, the same lady called me later in the week and told me" the furniture you got are unfortunately no longer available". Puzzled, I asked for an explanation and she repeated to me the exact same statement, not a word of explanation. I demanded the refund, which they did. I originally called this store looking for a different sectional which had been back ordered everywhere and Lauren recommended a very similar sectional for us to look at. I was dead set on the original one we wanted but didn't want to wait months for it so I figured we'd at least give her recommendation a shot. I'd also like to point out that this whole transaction was done over the phone and through texting due to our busy schedule and strong desire to find a sectional very quickly (Lauren even texted me pictures of the display sectional in the store to give me a better feel for the color). We ended up loving her recommendation of the Amandine and ordered it over the phone with her on a Tuesday and set up for delivery on Saturday (only 3 days after ordering!). Unfortunately, our location was outside of their delivery area but Lauren worked her magic and found a way for us to get the sectional delivered to our home since we were in such a hurry to get it. The delivery guys were AMAZING as well! They were prompt and extremely helpful in helping my boyfriend get everything set up also. The couch itself is wonderful; it's extremely comfortable but still a bit firm so as not to sink. which is exactly what we were looking for. The color is perfect and seems that it won't show dirt which is great considering we have 3 dogs. It seems very sturdy and built well (which is the biggest issue we've had in the past with our couches; being built very lousy). It's very scary to make such a big purchase sight and comfort unseen but Lauren made the whole process very easy and put my mind at ease. A automated text messaging system is used to avoid actual customer interaction ; Unless you come in store and even then you have to wait for 30 minutes before anyone will even acknowledge your presence. They charge you to deliver the furniture, then allow their movers/ service technicians to put the stuff together wrong and refuse to rectify the situation. They claim every manufacturer is out of business whenever it time to fix something to avoid fulfilling warranty obligations. The wrong screws were used in my head board causing it to strip the wood and break. I haven't even had the head board 6 month yet . Paid over $800 for a headboard I can no longer use. The store won't even replace it or take my call to talk about alternatives. They expect me to pay over $120 to have one of their "service technicians to come take a look." My question is, Look at what? When I was forced to send multiple pictures and the tag # of the item to reveal it was irrepair able. &&aJust another way to scam me as the customer out of more money for them to do nothing . RIDICULOUS ! You'd be better off going to a REAL discount furniture OR TAKE YOUR CHANCE ON FB market place. We are in a recession.
