Boca vet had told my parents to spend a couple days with their dog and come back to put him down. That was 6 months ago! Dr. Q has been informative of options and treatments for him, recommended specialists and has prescribed medicine to keep him healthy, prolong his life while also (most importantly) keeping him comfortable, pain free, and still having a quality of life. My brother also now goes to Dr. Q with his golden retriever and 2 cats after trying 5 other vets prior. All around amazing!

We've been with them for almost 5 years, since we had Dr. Doolie and Dr. Ali. Both of them were very kind, friendly, and attentive. Every time we brought our cats in, we were able to meet and speak with the doctor--even during regular visits--which showed how much they cared. Yesterday , we were told that we would have to pay extra if we wanted to see the new doctor, since it was "just a vaccine" visit for my cat. That really surprised me. It's not about the money--we're always willing to do whatever is needed for our cats--but it made me feel like the doctor doesn't truly care. When it comes to your pets, it's normal to want to see and talk to the doctor, especially with someone new. This has never happened before, so it feels like it's all about business now. P.S. The staff are always kind and lovely--we still appreciate them--but we're just too disappointed to come back.

She asked what the problem was and I explained and also this kitten had a history of hook worms from the mother and had been treated. Tiffany decided to call and confirm all the appointments for the day to see if anyone would cancel. Sure enough, one person needed another day and Tiffany gave us the 5:30 appointment. I hadn't much experience driving in Delray and stated I would use Waze. Unfortunately Waze took me to their soon to open location a block away. I quickly called and stated what had happened. Tiffany stated to get back on the road, go another block to Pet Smart and I would find them there. She stated they were moving in about three weeks. Needless to say, upon my arrival they were waiting. All I can say is on a scale of 1 to 10, that day they were a 10. Professional in service, care by Vet and nurse was a 10. Most of all... THANK YOU TIFFANY FOR CARING AND GOING THE EXTRA MILE TO GET HER SEEN. Final note.. Should you go to this location, don't judge it by how it looks. They are moving to a new location in a few weeks. She was honest and did not try to take advantage of the situation to inflate the vet bill. Instead, she understood that my priority was to make Chewy as comfortable as possible and to ensure he wasn't in any pain. She discussed the importance of quality of life with me and helped my husband and me make the heart-wrenching decision to put Chewy down. The empathy and understanding shown by the entire staff were deeply appreciated. I see the reviews about the bills and I just want to say, if you are going to the vet, be ready to pay. It is the nature of the situation. Unfortunately. I want to believe these people do care about our pets and they did the right things by us. Today, we received a sympathy card from the office, handwritten by each staff member. This warm gesture touched my heart, and I'm incredibly thankful for their kindness. I recommend this place because I feel they were honest and I still haven't run into a private vet clinic that bills aren't high.
