I have traveled with all sorts of pets before but I have never flown with one. Especially not a cat that is a bit wild and grieving the loss of her owner. To say I was nervous seems a bit understating the matter ... terrified is more near to what I was feeling. They require you remove all pets from their carriers and cary them through security in your arms through the TSA check. I'm not sure if you know what occurs when you try to pick up a terrified partially feral cat ... believe me I learned quickly! I am still healing from the results. However, the Magee Vet truly rescued me. They were willing to go above and beyond ... even when flights were changed last minute they worked with me with reassurance and smiles (and other very useful tools), willing to come in early or stay later to help me. They made it possible for me and little 'Grannie's Precious' to make it through security without either of us being injured. He prepared me in case of flight delays. They prepared all the paperwork I could possibly need to transport her to California and researched all the requirements I knew nothing about. I honestly would not have been able to do this without them. If I lived near them ... anywhere within a two hour drive of them ... this is who I'd being all my fur babies to. We both ('Precious'' and I) arrived home nearly 9 hours after our last visit with them ... safe and sound (her very confused and drowsy). I truly cannot thank them enough! They helped me fulfill a promise I made my Grannie as she was saying goodbye :(.
