I had been looking for a puppy and found one online at fancypoo4u in MS. I spoke with the owner about the puppy with hesitation because she sounded a bit unstable but I went ahead and sent her my deposit anyway. Turned out to be the worst experience ever. When communicating, she expected me to respond to her IMMEDIATELY and was very rude when I didn't respond right away. She got the puppy I was getting confused several times with the puppy of another customer therefore updating me with the wrong picture. When it came close to the time of shipping, I gave the lady the exact date that I would be sending the money; however, she began hounding me about sending the money weeks before the scheduled date. She called me one morning to get confirmation on the balance and shipping, but I was unable to answer the phone, so I mistakenly answered the call instead of sending it to voicemail. I disconnected the call and called the owner back about an hour later when I could talk. At this time, the owner asked me to add $50 to the balance because she would have to buy a bigger carrier for a 5lb dog. (Shady) This is her job. Shouldn't she already have a carrier to accommodate a small dog? At any rate, I added the $50 to the balance, gave her the tracking number and everything she needed once I got the money order with the balance to send to her. Later that night, the owner called me to say she didn't feel comfortable shipping the puppy after I hung up on her. I explained to her that I didn't hang up on her that I was trying to send the call to voicemail but picked up the call by mistake. I was livid that she'd let me get a money order for almost a $1000, send it off, then tell me she didn't feel good about shipping the puppy. I told the owner that I would sue her to get my money back if she thought for one minute that she was going to keep it. However, I was able to intercept the letter at the post office and get my money back, but she still kept the security deposit. I don't feel as though she should keep that money because she called me saying she didn't feel comfortable shipping the puppy. This was one wacky situation with one wacky lady. read more
