We always come around Christmas time as well, so it's probably way more chill during the rest of the year. Inside, half of the store sells toys and books, and the other half is a playground for the kids. I wouldn't say the toy selection is incredible or anything, but my kids normally find something that they enjoy. Of course, they tend to be the $3 squishy toys and not the stuff that's supposed to expand your mind, but I'm not complaining :) The indoor playground isn't bad! My son had a good time playing in the mock kitchen and chatting with the other kids. We'll probably come back the next time we're visiting :)

Who in the world has all of the toy boxes after a 6 year old birthday party. The appropriate response would have been to offer store credit so we could have tried another item of the same type. The woman "helping" my husband was rude and we will definitely tell everyone we know to not waste time or money there. Typically, we love to support local business but the truth is that you can buy toys anywhere

After a week of not receiving my item I reached out to ask when I could expect it to arrive since it was marked as delivering today. They told me they had no idea about this order and blamed it on the Shopify app which is weird because I ordered it directly from their website which listed as available and in stock. In order to make this right, the company did absolutely nothing, barely an apology. As a former manager I find this work ethic to be deplorable and I will never do business with this company again, they don't even know what they have in stock, but they take your money anyway. Poor managing and poor customer service, blaming it on the other guy.

Earth To Old City - Love this cute shop in Market Square.

We enjoyed perusing the shop looking at all the fun Knick knacks and gift ideas for Christmas. Great items for little kids to put in their stocking. My 4yr old nephew likes the stuffed animals and cute pens. My daughter came in to look for a sticker that said Knoxville TN which she found. I would have loved to buy something but I didn't because of the rude service. I give the shop selection a 5/5. Service: We were never greeted or even given a courtesy hello at the register. While we were perusing toward the back of the store we heard someone coughing and struggling with breathing. I am CPR trained and recognized she was chocking. I went to the front where she was located. I then asked her if she was chocking and she gave the universal sign grabbing her throat. I helped her take her back pack off and did the Heimlich. She was still struggling to breathe. After the first attempt I did it a second time she was still struggling to breathe. I turned to the workers tell them to call 911 but they didn't even move or look at me. And then did one more attempt, and she was able to spit out what was in her throat. She was crying and able to breathe after. She thanked me and I went back to my family. When I got to the register, I was telling my daughter that the woman was OK and what I had done. The workers at the register didn't even say anything they didn't say thank you. They didn't say is she OK and I know clearly they could hear the whole conversation if I could hear her coughing when I was close to the register. We purchased what we needed and we left. Disappointed at their reaction. I'm sure if there is cameras it was caught, as I was at the entrance. Again the rating would be less if just the service!!!! 2/5 Great shop, bad service!

We built 2 monster cars. It is just like build a bear. You can do basic and get the standard wheels, rims, etc at no additional costs but do you? Nope... you upgrade and pay for all the extras and accessories. If can be as cheap as $20 or the sky's the limit. Once you pick out all you want, you get to build your ride with assistance. Lastly, one more opportunity to upgrade at check out. Free bag or upgrade to a cardboard box garage, or a car backpack! We got 2 vehicle bases, non RC, upgraded rims on both, monster truck wheels on both, a spoiler on one, a front grill on one, and 2 cardboard garages all for $140. The 2 employees working were very helpful, polite, and informative. Great with my two boys ages 3 and 7. Would recommend if you have a car loving kid!

From picking your own car body from a wide selection, to choosing tires and rims, to putting the car together under the instruction of one of the knowledgeable team members: my kiddo had an absolute blast! The more accessories are added on, the more expensive the car will ultimately end up being so I recommend being aware and setting a limit with your kiddo before visiting. Thank you "ridemakerz" for the great experience!
