I can say this because I have seen the finest examples of pinball for public play in this location. I went up there today and there is a Stern "Family Guy" and "The Sopranos". Both tables have been fully shop reconditioned and fully LED converted. They look and play fastastic! The pinball games are set at $2/play, which is quite expensive if you are only a casual player. The games have quite a high replay value on them as well, so it isn't easy to "get your money back" with a free game. I'd like to see regular players treated to games at 3 tokens a play (so about $1.50) instead of the current four tokens.

We went with 30 minutes and we could play all but the most expensive games. There's various options including with meals, so definitely figure out what's best for you. Keep in mind, you won't win prize tickets, but for our 30 minute session we had 100 tickets. Are you confident you'll earn that many on the games?

Would be great to hear some old 80's/90's music in the background too just to give it a even greater retro vibe, but I don't think I've seen a place with this many games since the old Grundys down the Gold Coast. Kudos also for the noticeable absentee, the poxy friggin claw/luck machines that spit out tickets, I used to hate those. I paid $25 for access to all games & pinballs (once you enter, no more to pay. No coins needed). I think I'd well and truly got my moneys worth in the 1st 30mins of jumping on and off machines and pinnies. Leave yourself 2-3 hours if your gunna go, it sucks you in like Bunnings, you think to yourself "I'll just go in for a quick 30 mins" and next minute you've missed dinner. :-)

Complete with tickets for rewards in every game in this small room. There is Time Cop, Air Hockey, Basketball, all your childhood jammed into this tiny little room. Loud music, sweaty school kids, dodgy little rubber toys you get after spending a gazillion dollars there. It's arcade at it's best. More for the teen in you, but there is a game in here for everyone (Daytona!!!!!)... ah back in the day. This was the place to go on a teenage date. Who knows how long this is going to last until the wifi computer games will it out of existence, so make sure you get your arcade on at Fastplay before the time runs out.

I have a soft spot for Fastplay Game Centre since it was the arcade centre I would go to as growing up in the western suburbs. This arcade game centre is no-where near as large as the ones in the city and larger shopping centres, but it does the trick. The 'Dance Dance revolution' type of game is always popular and there are a few 'Wack-a-Mole' and 'pin-ball' games as well as the ever-popular photo-booth. On the weekends, you will find a bunch of kids running in and out of the place, but the occasional will adults come here too. Playing a couple of games at the Fastplay will not burn a hole in your pocket so why not pop by and let you inner game-nerd come out?
