My kids and I like thrill rides. My wife doesn't. We all had a "let's come back" good time.

We even heard from other guests that they had gotten stuck on a ride and had to climb down. The food was typical of an amusement park, mostly fried foods and desserts. Prices were high, but that is norm these days, unfortunately. Some of the positive experiences were firework show and the Haunted Frankenstein House (requires an additional charge) was definitely worth it. Overall, our visit was a disappointment. The park has not aged well and is in need of repairs, along with better staffing.

We were short a few cards/bands and when we told them they put ANOTHER $100 on our bill. We booked a CHILDS party and told them this. Got there and was told cant do the Ax throwing because its for 16 and up. Was bowling and asked "3" times do you want the pizzas put in YES!!!! So over an hour later they finally arrived. During the party never seen an employee to maybe ask if we needed anything or how was the party-do we have any suggestions--Nothing. -When I did need anything I had to go looking for an employee and personally they seemed slow at caring or wanting to help. There is all young kids working and they seemed very bored with their jobs. After seeing the reviews and ZERO response to the reviews from the owner I think this place will eventually not make it. I have so many great ideas that would turn this place around -but I couldn't even find anyone to share my thoughts with. So I wish them the best and hope they take a serious look at making this a more organized and desirable place. It has potential.

From the perspective of a caretaker I had some concerns. There were inconsistencies at the rock climbing wall. We had one student (a very small one) who was allowed to go the first time he went, denied the second time, and allowed the third time. Different workers were there each time and eligibility to go on the wall is supposed to be based on weight. The workers at the wall were not very helpful to the kids with getting their harnesses on, nor did they monitor the kids as they climbed, leading to two kids getting tangled as they came down. There were other instances of workers not setting timers for rides like the boats and bounce house, even though there were long rides for both. Overall the kids loved it, rides were age-appropriate and lines went quickly.

You can tell that the park does a great job of hiring and training their team for patience and attentiveness to their guests of all ages. Nobody ever seemed distracted by there cell phones which is so important in an environment that caters to young children. Food and beverage wasn't cheap, but just above today's fast food out on the street, and quite frankly portions that could be shared. Last but not least, the rides all seemed to be in great working order. We never felt any concerns with the girls riding any of them. We also went to a different location to get freshly squeezed lemonade and iced coffee. Both were delicious and perfect mid day snack during sunny afternoon The bathrooms were clean enough. The rides were fun and staff was very friendly. At the end of the day, we stopped and greeted Santa. I loved this experience since he was very patient and kind to our daughter. And it was very personalized. I was under the assumption was simple, and pose for photos but no... he talked to her and read her signs as to how comfortable she was. I appreciated Santa so much since he could tell she was getting a little scared and nervous. Overall, it is a fun place to be especially as a child. While getting out of the lazy river a lifeguard helped us to the part that gradually gets more shallow on your way out instead the steps, which was fine until we get all the way out where there's no more water just before the cement starts, and first my daughter slips and falls, then just as I'm seeing her fall (and while holding my son) I fall too. Not just a little slip but we completely fell to the ground. It was so extremely slippery in that spot. Luckily we walked away with scraped knees and the top of my foot scraped. Somehow I managed to not drop my son. The place was packed and not a single person asked if we were okay or needed help up. Not to mention the lifeguards blew their whistles constantly at some kids "too tall" to go down the baby fish slide or for standing/sitting on the water spouts by kiddy area. But didn't care about the older boys throwing a full size football nearly hitting people's (including me and my kids) heads in the deeper swimming area. Overall it was an okay time, my kids had a lot of fun and that's what matters most. But I think some changes are needed. I've been there plenty of times even when I was a kid myself but this was my least favorite experience. Most importantly they seriously need to fix that slick spot before someone busts their head or breaks a bone.
