Although most of the teachers he has had so far have been wonderful his grade two teacher, mr. Burton, is above and beyond. He is such an amazing role model for my son, he has managed to get through to him more than any other teacher so far. He refuses to place him in the "bad kid" box, is consistent, and has realistic expectations for acceptable behaviour for a kid my sons age. He communicates actively with parents so that you never have to wonder how your kid is doing. He works with parents to create an environment at school that supports what is going on at home and vice versa. He is positive, encouraging, and practical. I absolutely adore this teacher for my son and will miss him so much when it is time for my son to move on.
