That makes one worrysome. Your feelings as a concerned parent should never get threatened, and then get verbally abrused for having concerns especially at a school.

I am so thankful that we found this school. I don't think I can do it justice in one review, but I…read morewill try. My son has come so far this year thanks to the caring dedication of the staff. Each and every one of these ladies (teachers and assistants) is a treasure. My son has a gluten sensitivity, and Ms. Gloria went out of her way to bake gluten-free versions of all the baked goods they serve for snacks, and buy gluten-free treats for him to have on celebration days. I feel as though all the staff were very cautious with him and I can't express my gratitude for this enough. I delighted in hearing all about what he was learning. From the different continents, to planets in our solar system, it was all amazing. I can't believe the grasp he already has on phonetics and math. We are sad to be leaving the school, but will always look back on this experience fondly. Thank you for making my little guy's first school experience so exceptional.

They do a different theme each month with a themed craft most days. They also have story time, free play time, carpet time each day and field trips at least once a month. They go outside as often as they can with our silly Alberta weather. I feel like this preschool has prepared him so well for French Immersion kindergarten and made him such a little independent boy. I will be sending my youngest this upcoming school year too. If you are looking for an amazing south side French preschool, definitely send your child to Les Bouts D'Choux.

The Speech Studio is an exceptional speech, drama, and acting school in Edmonton. It prepares…read morestudents for board-certified examinations for the Royal Conservatory of Music (based on Toronto) and for the Trinity College of London (based in England). Shirley, the managing director, is extremely approachable, friendly, and dedicated to seeing your children succeed. Staff are highly trained; the studio is clean, well-furnished, and inviting. Pros: boosts child's confidence, writing skills, reduces performance anxiety, and ability to memorize; do a yearly performance involving all students; one of the better extracurricular choices to take on outside of school Cons: may be difficult to get scheduled to classes with Shirley in your first year (you may have to do a trial year with a junior teacher before studying with Shirley); studio does not maintain a very strong online presence, so it is best to give them a call. Summary: Studying with Shirley is a benefit without words. You must try out the Speech Studio. I had the benefit of being able to teach at the Studio in 2015-2016.
