And when I arrived, a sweet Asian woman came out of one of the rooms. It was a very strange arrangement in the entrance. It almost looks like at one time. It was the entryway of the home that it was in. Things that were weird? She asked me to pay upfront and wanted me to put the tip on there upfront. And I told her I would do the tip afterwards. She looks surprised. When she brought me to have the massage, she brought me downstairs into the basement. There was no light on the stairs, and when we got to the basement room, she had turned on a space heater so I could be worked on. Was it cold in there? Let's just say it wasn't warm. But it wasn't freezing either. I'm just thinking she really doesn't understand massage much. She did just a lot of hand rubbing like a person rubs your back when you're crying, you know? There was no needing of my muscles. And she did keep asking me if the pressure was OK. So I did appreciate that. It just was... Mid. There are too many other places to go that are much better than she. Maybe it was just her? I don't know. I just got a really weird vibe and honestly couldn't wait to get out of there. I wish I was wrong, but it is what it is.

I tried to relax and the music was so distracting that 15 mins into the massage I had to ask the lady to turn off the music. She then said she didn't know how to. So I had to show here how to. (-_O). I also had to tell her several times I would like more pressure on my massage and it still wasn't adequate enough. The cupping session was a joke. She had NO idea how to. She tried to several times suctioning the cup in the air and then putting the cup on my back. The cup kept falling off. She even mentioned that she didn't know why it wasn't working. So again I had to get up exposing myself more than I like and show her she had to put the cup on my back first and then use the suction. I knew when she started suctioning she still was not doing right because of the pressure. When time came, she said oh only one took out the toxin from your body. (That's cuz only one of the 20 cups had the correct pressure). ‍. Another thing that I didn't like was a couple times when I was laying on the massage table, almost bare naked she stepped out of the room to get something and the door remained open. At the end the lady said it will be $150. (0_0). Well like g story short, the owner was very apologetic and said the lady was new and deducted $20. If I'm in the area again I may give it a try again but for now, I will save my money and go elsewhere.

After finally getting on the same page I was brought to a room with multiple chairs. She put my feet in a bucket and then massaged my arms and hands but only used lotion on my right arm and not my left which I found very odd and actually a bit painful. When it was time for the foot massage, she spent a lot of time massaging BONEY PARTS of my feet and legs. She spent a lot of time on my KNEES which I had to tell her multiple times to stop because it really hurt. She spent time on my shins and the tops of my feet and individual toes... I literally cannot stress enough how much time she spent on my knees... After all of that she only spent about 7 minutes per foot and did not even touch my heels which was the biggest reason for going in. After this she told me to follow her to a room which I'm assuming was for the body massage. She led me to the room, pointed to the bed, shut the curtain and left. I had no direction of what to do, and I didn't see a blanket or gown to be dressed or covered in so I decided to just not go through with the body portion of the massage. I went up to the desk asked if I could tip on the card and after about 5 minutes she presents a higher price than the menu showed so I tipped 18% (to compensate for the price difference) said thanks and left. She looked at the receipt and stared me down as I was walking to the parking lot. I would NOT recommend this facility for any service at all. My feet still hurt and now my knees hurt too.

Shes got a good touch but can be a bit chatty, I like silence and only communication about how things feel or hurt, and Ive felt like I may have to carry a conversation when I was there. That set the tone for the rest of the experience. I signed up for their $59 facial special. As soon as I sat down, the worker immediately started upselling me on extra options. The way it was explained was confusing, and I agreed to extractions and another add-on, thinking they were part of the original facial. After a very quick facial, I went to pay and the total had jumped from $59 to $124. When I asked why, I was told it was because of the add-ons. Then I received a text receipt showing $137 instead -- which I'm assuming included a tip I never agreed to. I didn't argue in the moment, but I definitely learned a lesson. Between the rescheduling, lateness, confusing upsell tactics, and surprise charges, I would not recommend Oasis Spa in Saugus. Proceed with caution.
