Having a diet coach has honestly changed my life for the better…read more Living with lymphocytic colitis isn't easy. There are days when your body feels unpredictable, when food feels like the enemy, and when energy levels can swing all over the place. Before working with my diet coach, I spent a lot of time guessing, trying different foods, reading conflicting advice, asking ChatGPT and hoping something would finally work. Working with Leila completely changed that. She helped me understand my body instead of fighting against it. We built a structured approach to eating that supports my condition, focuses on low-FODMAP principles, and prioritizes gut healing rather than just temporary fixes. Because of that guidance, I've been able to stabilize my symptoms, improve my energy, and feel far more confident about what I'm putting into my body every day. One of the biggest changes I've noticed is in the gym. By dialing in my nutrition, especially adding fruits before my workouts for clean, quick carbs, I've had better lifts, more consistent energy, and overall stronger sessions. On top of that, I'm actually hitting my diet goals consistently, which used to feel impossible but now 200 grams of protein is nothing! Leila is a cheat code, she knows all the tricks. What I appreciate most is that this wasn't just about food, it was about building a sustainable routine and learning how to listen to my body. When you're dealing with something like lymphocytic colitis, that kind of support can make all the difference. I'm genuinely grateful for the impact she's had on my health, my performance, and my life. I will be coming back to her as my body changes. The only difference is now I am happy man and can live a normal life

Actually, I wasn't really aware that I had lost my life. I was frustrated with some pounds that wouldn't budge. I had tried all the things. All the diets. I tried any fitness regimen that any blog, magazine, neighbor, friend or dog suggested to no avail. Add on to that, a year of pandemic-comfort food eating-binge drinking-soul searching-extra baggage carrying mania and by January 2021 I was ready for a change. While I was ready for a change, I was also dead scared any nutritionist would take away all my champagne and comfy carby carbs. One of my top favorite things about working with Lori is we took it slow and easy! We made little tiny baby steps that added up to little tiny baby changes. It got the ball rolling without feeling like I was sacrificing anything or missing out. The second thing I love about Lori is that she practices what she preaches. She works out, she eats clean, and she takes her own advice. I found that not only to be mesmerizing but inspiring. Anyone can be a teacher but a great teacher is also a great leader by example! So how I found my life that I didn't realize I had lost....Well through our sessions we talked about many other things besides food. Like my work, my husband, our home life, habits, patterns, emotions etc. Through this process of digging stuff up and sifting it out we found that the over eating and over drinking came from a deep dark place of unhappiness. Again, Lori didn't take things away but added things back in that made me happy. I had forgotten how much I love to paint. I had forgotten how to be happy sober. I had forgotten how to express myself under pressure to my boss, to my husband, to my family and to myself. As more happiness crept in, more unhappiness crept out. As the unhappiness left my need to eat and drink like a termite vacated. I'm still a work in progress but aren't we all right?! I'm a woman in my early thirties. I started working out more than three years ago and was on a strict diet. I did everything I could to be healthy, but the scale still showed 220 pounds. After almost two years, I managed to lose 30 pounds and was feeling pretty happy. But then, I started to feel stagnant. I lost a few pounds here and there, but that was about it. I was disappointed with myself and felt bad about my self-esteem. So, I decided to look into surgery options. But I must admit, I was scared. I had seen videos on social media and wasn't sure if that was the right decision for me. I looked into other options, including weight loss shots. I had heard about them, but I thought that they weren't for me when they started gaining popularity a few years ago. But now, they seemed like a better option than surgery. I researched the GLP-1 and was pretty sure that I would give them a try. When I was ready, I wanted to a clinic that I could trust and that could help me achieve my weight loss goals. I searched Yelp for "clinics to lose weight" and found some near to me. I read the reviews and, when you look at a place that everyone says is good, you can't help but be skeptical. That's why I like to read the negative reviews too. (I work in customer service, and I know that unhappy customers tend to discredit good places.) I decided to give this clinic a try with Lindsay. That was three months ago, and I still remember how nervous I was that day. But the staff was so nice and professional with me. Lindsay recommended me tirzepatide, and now I'm a completely different person. (I shouldn't tell you my weight, but it's now 159 pounds.) I know I've lost more than 30 pounds in just three months. But let me tell you, this isn't magic. You have to put in a lot of work for yourself. Take care of yourself, go to the gym (but you don't have to live at the gym), drink a lot of water, and eat healthy. (You know just follow the rules) Lindsay and the staff aren't your mom. Their job is to help you reach your goal. I want to thank Lindsay and the staff for their help. I highly recommend them. (I'll leave some pictures for everyone to see.)

I had been to multiple psychiatrists who'd come up with various diagnoses ranging from generalized anxiety disorder to bipolar. I had been on and off various antidepressants and antianxiety medications with no avail. Due to the anxiety I had horrible problems with sleeping. I had been prescribed Ambien and still would wake up after just 3-4 hours. I would have multiple nights where I'd only get 3 or 4 hours of sleep until I'd crash and end up sleeping 15 hours... just to go back sleeping 3 or 4 hours again until my next crash. In order to make it through the day I was consuming EXCESSIVE amounts of coffee. During good days I would consume 3 cups, and during bad days I was consuming up to 8 cups of coffee. No matter how much coffee I had I was always in a fog. My brain was fuzzy and I was incapable of thinking clearly. I was loaded up with all these prescriptions, birth control, and coffee and would often wonder if there would ever be a time when I would feel "good." When I heard about Diane I knew I had to meet her. I had read one of Diane's articles that talked about how birth control and coffee is toxic to women. But I didn't know how to quit either of those things cold turkey. I had been dependent on both of them for SO long. After working with Diane she showed me how to dump the birth control and the coffee. Over time I was able to ditch the anti anxiety medication and the sleep medication as well. I have even been able to sleep throughout the night, which I NEVER thought would be possible. However, ditching the antidepressants has been a much harder task. However, I have been able to cut back on my dosage, with Diane there supporting me every step of the way. Through this journey Diane has not only been my nutritionist, but also my teacher, my life coach, my support system, and my friend. Not only has she been there with me step by step throughout this journey, but she has also instilled in me the knowledge I need in order to continue this healthy lifestyle for the rest of my life. Diane is one of the most positive people. I have been able to confide in her about things that I haven't even shared with my closest friends. She passes no judgment, but just looks at ways to improve your quality of living. Since working with Diane I can finally say that I not only feel "good," but that I feel AMAZING!!

Because I had a fairly delicate pregnancy and was being extra cautious, I didn't work out much during pregnancy. By the time I returned, I had taken nearly 16 months off from consistent training, and it showed. My strength, mobility, and overall fitness had regressed significantly. Anyone who has been through a postpartum journey knows how challenging it can be to start again while breastfeeding, functioning on interrupted sleep, and adjusting to a body that feels different than it once did. What impressed me most about Hideout was how well the trainers understood this. They took the time to assess where I was physically, identify my strengths and weaknesses, and guide me back one step at a time. On my first day, I was incredibly tight and hesitant. I struggled to squat and was genuinely nervous about even gently bending my knee. Four months later, I was barbell squatting 110 pounds without pain. That transformation is just one example. The improvements in my strength, mobility, range of motion, and overall fitness have been incredibly encouraging. The progress has been so rewarding that I rarely miss a session--even on the days when I'm exhausted. My coach does an exceptional job of meeting me where I am each day, modifying workouts based on my energy levels, recovery, and capabilities while still keeping me moving toward my goals. What Hideout offers is more than just workouts. They have a team of knowledgeable, educated, and highly skilled coaches who understand that every person is different. They tailor their approach to each individual's body, strengths, limitations, and goals. That level of personalization makes all the difference. It takes a lot to trust someone with your body and your health. I can unequivocally say that placing my trust in Hideout Fitness was one of the best decisions I made. In my experience, he has done more for me in the last 6months than what generic western doctors have done over the past 30 years. The best way I can describe him is that he is like a doctor, a psychologist, psychotherapist and several other professionals all combined into one.
