I had a joint 4 year old party here, a sports party. They put an over-sized youth in charge of a group of around 35 young children who, finding it hard work and overwhelmed with too much responsibility, gave up leaving the kids to run riot, resulting in injury and disorder (the terms 'chaos' and 'bedlom' do not come close to describing the scene). They charged a ridiculous amount for tea& coffee, no juice for the children other than a couple of small jugs at the table once food was given out. The food was a joke; now way near enough and too few plates for the numbers of children we had paid for (some children my own infact- went without how ridiculous is that? and there wasn't enough room at the table to seat people. I complained to the youth who did nothing. When I asked for a knife to cut the cake where I planned to give some to the parents, it was explained by the owner that this was against his rules. So, despite paying out over £400 to this thief, he wanted even more money from parents to buy cake from his dirty kitchen. He behaved in a disrespectful and obnoxious manner, clearly just after the cash no emphasis at all on value or customer service. The stress of the experience to be clear let me define what that looked like a dangerous, chaotic, under-catered for, over-charged event where children couldn't all sit together which was rushed for which I had to pay out an obscene amout of money caused me to develop a strep B throat infection resulting in a week off work. It was only to avoid more stress that I did not take this place to court for infringement of health and safety and misrepresentation offering a service and not delivering. There is no way that a youth should have been put in single charge of a party of that size. DO NOT GO HERE AT ANY COSTS. I won't even let my children attend parties here when invited since I do not want to support businesses run by people like this they should be shut down. read more

Just had a joint party at this place and would have to agree with all the one star reviews. Kids happy but this is probably because of the other kids. Dirty smelly toilets, abrupt staff who have to be watched in case the steamrollerkids with their clearing up carts. For £11 per kid (admission alone about £5) you get 2 party rings, a few squares of breadcrumbed chicken breast, some cheese and ham sandwiches and a slice of pizza. They are clearly trying to make a fast buck as we had several 3 year old kids (5 year old party) and when parents tried to offer them a little food, they were made to pay for the child as a full invitee. You are given a feedback form to fill in, we ticked satisfactory for all except quantity of food, for which we ticked poor. This form is required of you BEFORE you leave. The owner of the company Russell Gardner summoned us over without any kind of introduction and demanded rather than asked politely what it was that was bothering us. Nursing my urine soaked sock, I told him; to which he said he was sorry I took that view but that every body else give him glowing feedback. He clearly hasn't visited this page. The mum who we co-partied with suggested we should have paid for entry to Fund4all then gone to MacDonalds for the food. What a brilliant idea. Better still, pay for the Wacky Warehouse at Handforth, or at Congleton. Smaller, more personal and much cleaner. Avoid this place like the plague lest you catch one. read more

The kids love this place but for parents it's awful. Really it's one to avoid. You'll wait forever at the cafe because there's never enough staff behind the counter - today there was one girl and the place was PACKED being a wet sunday afternoon! Hygiene leaves a lot to be desired - I complained about one member of staff who wiped a spill off the floor then proceeded to WIPE THE COUNTERS AND THE TABLES WITH THE SAME CLOTH. When I pointed this out to her she was rude and offensive - the management thanked me, rather half-heartedly so it was obvious nothing would be done - but by this time the damage had been done so let's hope that they didn't have any customers with compromised immune systems in that day!! Also the loos are disgusting - the ladies absolutely STINKS to the extent that I was gagging today - this is made worse by the fact that there is no ventilation. REALLY REALLY SMELLY. My husband tells me that the gents is also very dirty and disgusting. Goodness I think I've convinced myself never to go there again. Stick to Ruff and Tumble in Marple - it knocks spots off this place and the staff are friendly !! read more

Macclesfied Fun 4 All: Just had a birthday party at this place. Whilst the kids had a great time playing on the equipment the quality of the food was really poor, even for a kids party. A party at home on a shoestring budget would easily have put their food to shame. They also managed to lose half of the cake when cutting it! Half of the cake ended up in the party bags and the other half went missing. Pinching cake from a two year olds party, come on. When questioning the staff we were told the remaining cake would be wrapped in clingfilm and put at reception, reception said it was in the kitchen. It never appeared and they all looked sheepish, wispering between themselves with very guilt looks. Very disappointed and very petty. read more
