And fixed all the worn spots. She is an amazing decorative painter and while she was there doing the den faux painting , I had her refinish my cabinets. The decorative painting of the cabinets was amazing refinishing I had her change the Fireplace finishes to match the cabinets so all the rooms matched. Her pricing is fair, her sample boards are amazing and exactly like the finished product, and the top coating that she puts over all of the painting has protected my exterior of each area especially the cabinetry Next Virginia is going to do my Exterior Front door. She is now doing some interior repair from our dog gates at the kitchen entrance, and while she is there we are adding some additional lighter colors to the existing faux. I have wanted a new look and have updated my furniture. Virginia has been working in my house for 8 years. I had first seen her faux designs at a local business and loved them. I have never paid someone that much money to mess something up this bad. oh and did I mention the big glob of plaster dripping down the wall behind the banester... an amigo from home depot at $15 an hour could do better job. When I saw that there was NO way it would get done on time, her comment was "I dont care, I need to make $500 a day" I absolutely could not believe it. She was going to make $500 a day no matter how BAD her work was or the fact that she spent very little time here. I hired her to finish a job and all she seemed to care about was how to make $500 a day to pay her bills. I have never left a bad review before, but I hired her largely based on the reviews here and I feel a social responsibility to let the world know to be very very careful in hiring her. She is a nice lady and I wish her well in life, but I would never recommend her to anyone to do work for them. At the end of it all she even said she would give $100 back (which I found offensively low because of the small amount of work done and the mess I was left with). Anyway she said she would give $100 back and I asked for it three times and she would never keep that promise. Just be careful, you have been warned.
