October 22, 2021 I…read moretook my grandkids here last summer and now revisiting a year later. Not much has changed. I'm only reviewing the playground as i haven't explored the rest of the park. The playground area has a partial fence to keep kids relatively safe from running into street. (Not that it's a super busy street). I think this playground is better for for kids 3 to maybe 8. They do have swings for babies and are high enough so parents don't need to go a lot of bending, however that's about it for kids under 2. For the older kids there is a great play structure with climbing poles and slides and swings. On the other side of the swings is a rock climbing/ bar structure. Definitely more fitting for older kids. There is also a big gazebo. It's a bit dilapidated, but certainly a great space for having a party. Across the small street are restrooms which were open and clean. Small parking lot was clean. Just be careful kids don't get excited and run across the street without looking. We also walked over to the flags across the street from the park. The kids enjoyed playing on the antique artillery guns displayed under the flags. I'm a little embarrassed i didn't take note of what the area was memorializing and will take notice next visit. Overall the playground is OK. It's a tad run down but certainly a place to let the kids play for a short bit.

Lots of free entertainment some pretty decent size acts and then just some locals. In addition, free popcorn for everyone. Rides and other activities. Takes place every year on Labor Day weekend.

This park is a good place to just relax for a little bit while traveling. There is a lot of big…read morethings to see in Casey, Ill, so it's nice to have a place like this where you can just chill. There is a lot of greenery, quite a few picnic areas, a playground, ponds (with ducks & geese), and restrooms in addition to sports fields. Moreover, there is an RV park as well with restrooms and showers. It's very pretty and there's lots of public parking.
