This Walgreens is a good example of a store that probably does well on account of its fairly…read moreconvenient location, but in terms of the quality of the pharmacy, the main reason why most people go to Walgreens in the first place, they definitely fall short - consistently. So let's get the introductory stuff out of the way: this Walgreens is located at the corner of Roswell Rd (Marietta part) GA-120 and East Piedmont Rd. They're one of the only Walgreens in the 30062 zip code, and snooty East Cobbers tend to not like "crossing the tracks" AKA dare cross into 30066 despite the fact that there are several other, probably better Walgreens within 5-6 miles away. Their parking lot is a war zone where choosing to park right in front of the Walgreens puts your car and your life at danger, because of the Karens and Beckys hauling (rear) out of the neighboring Starbucks drive thru in their Lexus SUVs to leave, and incoming traffic tends to ignore the marks on the asphalt and tend to drive over the handicapped spaces and wheelchair access because it's easier for them. Inside, if you've been in one Walgreens, you've been to all of them, and this one is no exception in that it's kept very clean, and in all fairness, the people that work outside of the pharmacy are polite and friendly enough, but it's not often that I'm going to a Walgreens for anything other than a prescription, unless there's some free photos I redeemed from slickdeals to pick up. But let's talk about the pharmacy: I don't think there's ever been an instance where I've gone to this specific pharmacy, and actually gotten in and out the door without some sort of screw up or aggravation. Have three prescriptions? You'll only get two. Have one prescription? You'll get a partial and be told to come back for the other half on Monday. Doctor prescribe you an antibiotic? The pharmacy will say they weren't contacted by your clinic, and you'll leave empty handed. Without fail, this Walgreens' pharmacy will always leave you feeling pissed off and/or disappointed. Typically, I tend to not bother reviewing big businesses, but this has gone on past long enough to where I feel like people should be warned before deciding to make this their primary pharmacy. I certainly know that I have numerous other options nearby that I can switch to, and will switch to after the latest disappointment. If you want 2/$3 Cokes or discounted generic over-the-counter drugs with your Walgreens card, this Walgreens is perfectly adequate for your needs. But if you need anything from a pharmacy, I highly recommend you seek to take your pharmaceutical needs elsewhere.

The younger black gentleman and younger petite black woman are both phenomenal. They both are not only competent but also understand that they work in customer-facing roles. Accordingly, they are professional -- which includes being kind and respectful to the customer. However, there's another young black woman (on the heavier side) with the nastiest attitude. Some advice for her: when you tell the customer that you're not going to give them their Rx for whatever reason, they're going to be frustrated. Compounding their frustration? Your attitude. When your colleagues communicate a delay or issue, it never bourgeons into conflict -- can you guess why? Because they are professionals, and they act like it. This means being kind and respectful even in -- especially in -- the face of a frustrated customer. One more tip: When a customer shows up, greet them? I assume a smile is asking way too much, but certainly don't sit there scowling (in silence, no less!). Like the customer is a nuisance and a bother, showing up and expecting you to do your job. The audacity. Acknowledge the customer and let them know you're ready to assist them. If this is too much for you, get another job. Sincerely. You are unfit for a customer-facing role.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent visit to Threads Hair Salon in Locust…read moreGrove, GA. What should have been a routine appointment turned into a genuinely unpleasant experience due to unprofessional behavior and completely avoidable discomfort. The braider assigned to me was a new stylist, which I understood and was willing to accommodate. However, from the beginning, she braided my hair with excessive tension. I communicated clearly and politely that the braids were too tight and asked for less tension. Instead of adjusting, she proceeded to braid even tighter. This was not only disrespectful, it was painful and dismissive of a basic request related to my comfort and well-being. I chose a Black-owned business because I believe in supporting our community, but that does not excuse poor service or disregard for clients. Professionalism & Respect, they were lacking during my visit. I will never return back and encourage others to be cautious booking with them.

I got my hair done yesterday(Monday, 11-18-13), and am very satisfied w/ the results! I got an full enclosured inverted "bobb" w/ NO HUMPS or BUMPS!!! WOOHOO!!! Go Teba!! I'll admit I was a little bit apprehensive about going to a salon that I had never dealt w/ before, but Teba and her knowledge and skills made my apprehensiveness turn into pure satisfaction!! She is very welcoming, nice, and funny! Her meticulousness(which is a good thing), reassured me that I was getting the style that I wanted. My 1 1/2 hour drive all the way from L.A.(Lame Athens), was mos. def. worth it...NO REGRETS whatsoever!! I mos. def will be coming back to Threadz, although I will say that I would only want Teba to do my hair again(no offense to the other stylists though, even though Teba was the only one there). Highly Recommended!

I really hate to say this but I must be honest after my 10 Hour experience. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!…read moreYOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Two of the ONLY ladies who was serviced the same day I came in stated they showed up because of reviews. So here's what happened. Sign states "walk- ins are welcome" YOU'RE REALLY NOT. Typical shops have Braiders available when the shop opens but no she had ONE braider doing one person head at 8 am. Who was very dismissive because she had a client. I called in advance. You're only going to speak to Salima who's going to book all the appointments. SHE'S NOT GOING TO SHOW UP BUT WILL SEND CUSTOMERS AND NO EXTRA BRAIDERS. I was very clear that I wanted human hair knotless and I'm supplying the hair. The two sisters that finally showed up to do my hair after running an hour late. There was no pricing discount for the complete inconvenience and they kept complaining about the amount of work and time it would take to do human hair. Additionally how the price would be more only to put these fat braids in the back of my hair, half braided. The ends they attached my human hair WITH NAIL GLUE. Had me leave the shop to purchase more glue for them. By far the most bizarrest experience. I had to pray to keep my cool because they make sure to give you a good 5 or 10 braids so you come back. They also ask you leave some form of identification as well. Back to my experience. So unfortunately I allowed them to convince me for the sake of time to put this highly chemically processed kanekalon in my hair. As an another viewer mentioned. They will convince you to get something else and still charge you a ridiculous amount while having you in that shop ALL DAY!!!! The first braider to show up, I find her very unprofessional, unsisterly and definitely not a team player. Her client was furious after 8 long hours of service they demand cash or zelle but didn't take navy federal zelle. Very weird because 2 out 3 of the only clients that had the entire day bank with NF. I decided to help sis out and have her send the funds to me and I zelle Salima from my pnc account. You think after rectifying her situation the braider would help seeing that there's only one braider to one head and it's already 3 pm. NO!!!!! She left after doing only one head and offered no assistance. That was the icing on the cake. She really had me thinking she would help But left like it was nothing. My only one star goes to the sisters they were absolutely beautiful souls. However THEY ARE EXTREMELY SLOW!!!!!!! EXTREMELY SLOW!!!!! After making these braids jumbo in the back you think I would've been out of there. Let's brake down time. I arrived as a walk-in at 8:30AM, Salima messaged me two Braiders were coming but failed to mentioned the slowest in the city, They had me leave and come back at 9:45 AM that's when I knew I should've never said yes. Had a whole wedding to travel for and everything. The sisters didn't arrive until 11:00 AM!!!!! They claimed because an accident. However Braiders should be at work when the shop opens. I believe the entire McDonough has slow Braiders as you get closer to Atlanta they are fast and get you out on time. They didn't start on my hair till -12 but not before complaining about what they're not going to do after Salima jacked up the price and agreed to my human hair knotless mid back or waist length. It's so funny because they never braided my hair waist length. They glued my human hair pieces in rather than the tree branching method when including the extensions like I asked. WHICH IS WHY MY BACK BRAIDS STARTED TO FALL!!!! Back to time. I did not leave that shop up 10:50 PM!!!!!!!! After showing up at 9AM NEVER AGAIN! Charged me $280 for these messy ends and partial braids. The shop is clean unlike most braiding shops but you will be there ALL. DAY!!!! They offered to fix my hair a week later on their time. I couldn't even show up from me having to work. God did not lead me to go back.
