The school is an all boys Roman Catholic secondary school and has a great reputation in Bradford. There are boys from ages 11 to 18 here and around 1200 students attend the school. It's in a small village not far from Bradford city centre. The standard of education here has always been very high and remains so to this day. There's talk of the school merging with the girls catholic school located just down the road, hence the new buildings popping up around the school. The teachers on the whole were pretty good there. It's a real top place to go to school!

The area surrounding the school is really nice and its fitting that the school itself, which backs onto the church, complies with that. There would be around 220 kids attending here and the school continues to evolve for the better. Education standards have always been great as OFSTED reports will show. The teahers are of a great standard and the facilities live up to that too. On leaving this school you can be sure that the standard of education you have received is of the highest quality.

There was an introduction period in July where she went one morning a week to meet the teachers and her new friends and get used to the school so it was less daunting in September. Her learning capacity had increased immensely and the teaching staff are really lovely so far so good! As the school is relatively small so there is more focus on the children, no matter what year the kids are in they talk to each other.

I am on my 5th and final year of studying at Outwood Grange Academy. Few very of the teachers are…read morevery supportive and aim to help students achieve the grades they want. However, the general performance of the school is terrible. The school stereotype students, discipline students for one-off mistakes such as a forgetting a book. They also do not encourage student individuality. The grades the school achieve overall are above the national average, however this is because the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), push students purely for their own reputation of the school as a whole. The school mainly focus on discipline rather than praise, therefore they push away high-achieving students, to focus on the less intelligent students. Furthermore, the school claim to have a motto of "Students First", however very few students make it to the "Student Voice Team", and very little of their opinions are put forward into the general school performance, which to many of us students, is ironic. There are plenty more negative aspects of the school, with very few positive remarks. I wouldn't recommend this school for secondary education, or sixth-form, as your student will be pushed into a narrow category without a true voice or opinion.
