Fullington has been great from our 1st email. I handle a large shuttle with several buses. It is more than your typical 1-2 bus rental, thus far more complex. Mike has been extremely responsive and willing to help out with the unique requirements of a large shuttle program. I have used Fullington for years. Have always received great service. Shocked about these poor reviews, but see the negative reviews are single passengers that have a very small sample size. Horrible experience. I took a bus to visit my visit my sister. These two guys were the last to get on the bus. I apparently I was in a seat they wanted to sit in and they started screaming at me to get out while the bus driver did nothing and the they wouldn't leave me alone until I did. This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. Our trip was canceled by the bus company, which happens, but the experience to get a refund is terrible. The customer service is terrible and the employees are very rude. Always directing your call to a recording. Terrible. I took the 7:15 am bus from NYC to Williamsport on 11/23/22. The driver added 45 minutes to a trip that was already over 6 hours by driving on a bunch of back roads in western NJ searching for diesel, which eventually found in Easton,PA. And a young woman spent a solid hour talking very loudly on her phone with her mother, much of that te on speakerphone. When she finally got off the phone, she began playing music. The driver said not a word to her about it (even though she was seated in just the 4th row back). It made for an absolutely miserable trip! read more

Fullington was likely the worst bus experience I will ever have had. After a certain time (I think around 11 pm), they just shut down the bus and cancel the remaining stops. Have to get home? If they're late, too bad. I had a bus from Buffalo to Pittsburgh (which was a connection, mind you) that showed up 3 HOURS LATE which then proceeded to cancel all stops past Dubois. I told the driver I'm a student who needs to get home, as I have no connections in Buffalo, and he essentially told me to kick rocks - it's not his problem. The homeless drunk working "security" at the Buffalo station had some really unprofessional words for me as well, but that's a problem for another time. There were no more buses anywhere near Pittsburgh that day, so I called Fullington and tried to explain the situation, but it's apparently protocol to just fiddle around and do nothing, because the guy I called kept trying to shut me down and tell me to wait another 24 hours for tomorrow's bus until I told him I'm a student with no income and cant really just stay in a city with nowhere to stay. He was really nice at that point, getting me an earlier ticket and even a nice hotel room in Buffalo, but that's is not a bonus at all for the company. It was all his doing and anyway, Fullington had done way more than enough. Oh well. DO NOT RIDE by any means necessary. read more

The Harrisburg to Pottsville route is always dependable and pleasant, especially when Lotty is driving - she's the best!! She goes out of her way to help out passengers, answer questions, and get everyone to the destination on time - have never, on any bus line, anywhere, had a driver who was better at getting there on time; she's amazing! read more

My son was supposed to take the Sunday 6:00 pm bus from Philadelphia to PSU. The bus was canceled at the last minute, no one was informed, stranding dozens of students at 30th street station. The next available bus is Tuesday morning. I won't consider Fullington to be reliable transportation in the future. read more

If I could give it a zero I would. My dad took a trip to Niagara Falls, New York yesterday and the bus was super late. Then he wasn't told almost everything takes a credit card which he doesn't have. He had to walk all over and just when he makes it back to the bus in time he and everyone else is told that the driver couldn't find a replacement so they were going to have to wait for the driver to get at least 8 hours of sleep. Everyone was furious even the chaperone who said he would be reporting that. Finally, finally, the bus comes and it's late. My dad was supposed to get dropped off at 10 p.m. but didn't get dropped off til after midnight. Very disappointed in this bus company. read more

This is a 24-hour little bus station that services Greyhound, Amtrak, and their own line, Fullington. I don't know much about the bus service itself cause I don't live around here, although I came in today way too early ( 11:30am) for a 1:55pm Greyhound, and have taken a liking to the place. The staff is super friendly. There are two people working right now and nobody but me in the building, so they are free to help you with anything or just chat. The staff will also alert you to coupons that you don't know of to get your ride cheaper. There is free wifi (server: TRAILWAYS, password: FULLINGTON) and outlets all around the room! (: There are vending machines with snack, soda, and juices. There are even the little gumball dispensing machines you see in ghetto grocery stores with gumballs older than your coins. read more

This is quite possibly the worst transportation service currently operating in America, which is really saying a lot. About 50 of us were left stranded at Port Authority in the early morning hours on Christmas Eve day, possibly one of the most depressing places to be, waiting for the 7:15 AM bus. It was 7:30. It was 7:45. It was 8:00. No announcements, no nothing. Many of us were bound for destinations where people were picking us up at certain times. Many calls to the main number were met with a gruff "Maybe the bus started late, I don't know" from a rep who made sure to let us know "if the bus does come and you get on it, you will not get a refund". Thanks for letting us know. When it finally pulled in at 8:20 or so the guy offered no explanation, no nothing, just show your ticket and get on. We all arrived at our various destinations over an hour late, which messed up my holiday plans and certainly many others. When I inquired about at least a partial refund, a dude named Alf Bumbarger let me know that "airlines don't offer refunds for delays". When informed that actually they do, he then said "Look, we got you where you were supposed to go. REFUND DENIED." What about the hour-plus unexplained delay, Alf? Eventually I was passed to a guy named Charlie Litz who informed me "I am as high as you can go. I am the top of the mountain. You will not be getting a refund of any kind. We got you to where you needed to go." When asked about the hour-plus delay it was back into "Look we got you to where you need to go" mode. This company truly does not understand the concept of "schedules" which is quite scary for a transportation company that runs by its schedules. And it isn't cheap either, 87 dollars for a ticket where the bus showed up at my destination over an hour late and no excuses with traffic, etc. I would encourage anyone who has received similar horrific customer service from this company, and judging by these reviews there are many, to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about your grievance. If course they will ignore it and not respond, but at least this will go as a strike against them which does hurt. They should not be allowed to treat their customers this way or even be in operation. If you can travel any other way, a different bus service, walk, bicycle, any would be preferable to Fullington Trailways. read more

Absolutely horrible! I have taken this bus several times now, and the first time it was severely late, I was understanding because of traffic. However, for the last couple of times, this bus has been many HOURS late, due to mechanical failures and connection failures. This is too often to be chance, they are not keeping their promise of good service to their customers. Additionally, their refund policy is draconian, calling the time tables "estimates that cannot be guaranteed" -- how is a 3 hour window an estimate?! Ridiculous! read more

We booked a trip to King of Prussia for Black Friday, thinking a professional driver would make us relaxed for the trip with heavy traffic. Problem was, our driver did not know how to drive the bus and kept popping the clutch, throwing all of us forward and making it feel like he slammed on the brakes. The first time he did it, I thought he hit a deer right outside the station. He did that the entire trip. When we got to the mall, he hit a curb and then sideswiped one of the mall trees down the entire side of the bus. He was rude to quite a few passengers, whenever you did try to speak to him, very unprofessional. He missed our stop on the way home, and we had to yell from the back of the bus to turn around and let us off! Never again, I do not recommend and will not ever use them for a bus trip again. I was very happy to have my feet back on solid ground, and would have gladly walked the mile back to our stop, if he would have refused to turn around. read more

Probably the worst service experience i have had in a while. Our bus was supposed to arrive @ 3:45 at a designated stop. After waiting well past the departure time and multiple calls to their customer service number with no response - we finally got hold of someone who told us that for some reason the bus left 1 hour earlier and there was nothing they could do about it. They suggested we take the next bus 4 hours later. After 3 hours, before leaving for the next bus we tried calling the same number with no luck. Given this experience, i would caution anyone against using this service unless u have hours to wait. If you kids are travelling, make sure you are there at the stop to make sure the bus shows up. read more

if i could give a negative stars review I would to this company, and its corporate parent TRAILWAYS. Attempted to book a return ticket home today, before attempting this feat, I made sure to check their "website", yes those are air quotes. The route and the destination I wanted to book, were not on the list of reduced service routes. Website would not allow me to book a ticket. Called number on website, btw--it is not Fullington's number, it is the number of another TRAILWAYS operator. I was told by the woman on the phone, the route I wanted only runs twice a week. It wasn't her concern that the information on FULLINGTON site is not accurate. And she could not help me, this effectively leaves me stranded and scrambling to find a way home. This not the first time Fullington (more like CRAPPINGTON) has screwed me on service. My ticket is usually ~$120, no working outlets to use for electronic devices--the website recommends fully charging your device(s), before boarding. No WI-Fi either. I will stick with Amtrak, and ask my relatives to drive an hour out of their way. Avoid FULLINGTON/CRAPPINGTON TRAILWAYS. read more

I am very disappointed in this bus company. My bus was over 30 min lates to my destination which in turn caused me to miss my last train going home.. when I called to see what could be done I was told that I had to pay for my own transportation and that the "boss" said there was nothing they could do about it.. it cost me an additional 56 dollars to get home when I already had prior arrangements.. Just to preface this review I want to point out that this bus service deserves zero stars but Yelp wont allow me to give that rating. This bus service is beyond horrible. They are late every single time no matter what and the drivers can be unprofessional. One such driver told every person leaving the bus "Don't get married". Seriously?!?!? This bus service is the definition of a nightmare. I once took a fullington trailways bus home for spring break from college and it was legitimately one of the worst experiences of my life. They cancelled scheduled service more than 12 hours in advance because of snow that had ended several hours prior to the service being cancelled. There were no travel restrictions and plenty of time for the roads to be cleared. I tried to get more information regarding the cancellation through Greyhound because that's who I bought the ticket from but they were useless and Fullington Trailways was already closed and wasn't reopening before the scheduled service was supposed to take place. This is by far the worst bus service I've ever taken. I don't own a car, so I take buses a lot when traveling. I've used BestBus, Megabus, Greyhound, and many regional bus brands innumerable times. Recently I bought round-trip tickets with Fullington for the first time, and can now say it is by far the worst bus service I've ever experienced. The Good: -typical coach buses -tends to be pretty empty, so lots of space The Bad: -One driver took each stop as an opportunity to smoke. He'd smoke right next to the door so he could collect tickets, which resulted in the front of the bus getting really smoky / disgusting. Really? -Both rides, I was required to have a printed ticket. These days such a requirement is very rare. Most bus services give drivers apps on their phone to look up your reservation (e.g., by last name). On one of my rides, I bought the ticket online, but was staying at a hotel and couldn't physically print the ticket out. They refused to look at the ticket on my phone and made me pay for another one! In the other direction, my hands were full and the ground was soaked. The bus driver also told me I had to have a physical ticket, and made me drop my stuff on the wet ground so I could get it from a suitcase. Way to care about the customer. I'd also like to make it clear that I wasn't told I needed to print out the ticket until after I purchased it. This would be less of an issue if Fullington was up-front about this -One way, my driver was driving like a crazy person. There was traffic, so he decided to drive illegally in the side lane for over a mile. He also was pretty liberal with the horn. Who hires these drivers? -One of my drivers spent the entire ride on the phone. He had at least 5 separate phone calls. I'd really prefer him to pay attention to the road. I don't need much in a bus service. Ideally it's a timely, no-frills and no-drama experience. This was definitely not the case when I rode with Fullington. Needless to say I will avoid this service in the future. You should too. read more

The WORST! My son bought a ticket in advance and was at the designated stop 30 minutes early as the ticket recommends only to get stood up by the bus driver who skipped his stop and kept driving! When he and I both called the dispatcher, we were both told the bus was now an hour away on the route and "this driver has done this before." WTF? What company continues to employ a driver who only makes stops when he feels like it?!? When I called the company office, they "looked into it", called me back and said their bus GPS showed the bus did arrive at the stop (late due to traffic), waited 3 minutes and left. It's their word against ours but my smart teenage son would not miss a big tour bus in a parking lot at the designated stop. Absolutely the most unorganized, unreliable bus company ever. As a college student I take the bus home to and from every single weekend. When I would try to go home on Sunday night, drivers would drive right past me. When I'd try to go home Monday mornings, the drivers would be over an hour late, and their excuse was "the bus is waiting on another bus for a transfer." I've had to eat my money over and over because of their incorrect scheduling and inability to send out alerts to those waiting on the side of road. This week, there was a very large detour in the bus's normal route, and instead of planning ahead, I had to wait for over an hour. The week before same thing, only there wasn't even a detour then. There's been times I've been told I couldn't even get on the bus because they over sold the tickets and had no room. After this semester I'll never be traveling with them again. Terrible. It I pay for ticket leaving at 10:30 am I expect to plane picked up at 10:30. And I could even deal with running 10-15 minutes behind, but an hour and 20 minutes??? You've got to be kidding me. After waiting for an hour and a half for a bus on Friday in which I couldn't get a hold of ANY customer service to figure out where and why the bus is running late, the return bus on Monday broke down and instead of calling for a new bus right away, a mechanic was called that we had to wait an hour for. Long story short, the bus needed to be towed and the new bus took 2 hours to arrive after already having to wait for the mechanic to get there. The incident unfolded initially over the validity of ticket which sparked the incident and staff aggressively escalated to the point of denying her to board the bus, rather than attempting to constructively resolve the matter in a professional, courteous and civil manner. I literally heard them screaming and yelling at her as she was crying profusely over the phone and was very alarmed and much fearful for her safety. After eventually confirming verification of said purchase, they offered to reschedule but we declined because NOTHING was done to address the conduct of their employees and we had ongoing safety concerns with her traveling alone considering the level of unbridled, hostile aggression and unprofessionalism displayed. We were further refused a refund as compensation for this horrific experience. When seeking resolution, their tactics are to deflect blame on to your frustrations rather than to hold anyone accountable within their organization for their initial mishandling of the situation. Again, strongly do not recommend anyone putting themselves at risk by dealing with this company. read more
