    After five weeks since I sent my shock, and a week after he took my card details I rang Peter to…read moreask when he posted it. He said "don't have the info at my fingertips, will ring you back" . He emailed me instead! So three hours after he sent the email I read that he 'hasn't rec. my payment' WTF? I gave him my card details six day prior, last Friday. So another week delay 'cos he didn't process my payment. So I rang him again to advise he had my card numbers and he started loudly talking over me (yelling actually) and not listening to me, so I had to yell back at him to get him to shut the fuck up so I could remind him that he had taken my card details a week prior. He replied "oh I was thinking of something else". No apology, but attempted another belligerant rant. I dunno what his problem was and didn't care so I pressed on and gave him the card details again. I then asked him how long to process the payment; his surly reply "dunno I'm not a bank". Smart-arse! So I changed tack and asked him "ok , how long in your exp." He reluctantly said "usually o'night, I dunno all banks are different". Fucken smart-arse! Then when I asked about postage he started the surly, dumbshit, smart arse routine again. Asking me how do I want it posted, etc. Told him that seeing as he'd already charged me $35 for post one would think he already had a postage option and firm price in mind. Was $19.50 actual post cost. I demanded a refund of the difference, he refused saying it was for packaging LOL. Will allow the bank to sort that one out. Also I complained about how long he took (5 weeks so far) and he blamed me for making a couple of changes along the way. BS again as he made the (one) change as he didn't read my order correctly. He added a Squat Control Valve 2 ($95.00) to the invoice without me ordering it. When I said I don't want that he took an entire week to send an updated invoice that reflected what I'd actually ordered. BTW the shock (allegedly) needed a couple of extra parts ($150) but that only added a few days. And now I'm questioning if that is true, did it need new parts? After a liar lies all the time. And no way will he get the job of rebuilding my forks next year. Or my brother's front forks. And a friend had expressed interest in having his shock rebuilt so I'll be letting him know to avoid. So that's two (maybe three) jobs lost due to his disgraceful attitude to customers. I hope his business fails as he is a cancer to the industry. I also sent the email trail to him so he could see his fault re the added extra (SCValve), but no reply and and I bet he won't admit to his mistake. Just a dishonest, smarmy, surly, smart arse, dickead. I didn't research reviews online before trusting him with my suspension, but have done so now and it seems that he has more bad reviews than good. How he still has customers I dunno. So lesson learnt; ALWAYS read reviews before ordering products or services. Was told he'd advise when posted, and by 5.30PM next day no contact so I emailed asking post status. He replied 7.00PM. Was posted yesterday (Thursday) and now the PO is closed. Jesus, it just never ends with this bloke.

Never had any issues, Always polite, Never over priced, Always does a awesome job. I once had a warranty, they sorted the problem out and replaced the item free of charge. I dont know how businesses deal with morons that get upset from lack of knowledge. Well done Days for helping me and my friends out for over 10 years.

I have booked my Honda EU20i generator for service on 23th of January 2018 with Day's Motorcycles and Power Equipment (Day's M&PE). Problem description: Intermittent problem with generator, it can be started but it stops shortly after. After three weeks I have received a call to pick generator up fitted with new "Ignition Module" and I have immediately went to pick it up and paid $368.75 and I have asked for the original Ignition Module that was replaced. I have tried to start the generator at home, but it would not start, therefore next day I went to Day's M&PE and I was told that it run out of petrol....??? Mechanic started generator and it run for few minutes. At home I could not start it again at all, therefore I had to go again back to Day's M&PE and I have asked question if replaced Ignition Module was perhaps not the problem as it was originally diagnosed by Day's M&PE and I have suggested that perhaps was the carburetor. Here I've received unexpected response. Laurie D has taken the generator and told me to take it somewhere else for repair. So I did as he suggested. I have taken the Generator to an authorized Honda service provider and it has been serviced within a week at cost of $78.35. They have serviced carburetor and I have also asked them to test the original n our community Ignition Module. Original Ignition Module was tested OK and it is fitted to generator right now. Generator starts every time on the first pull of the starter cord and runs as new for hours! I went to see Day's M&PE and asked for refund and want to return the new Ignition Module he has diagnosed as problem part and replaced good original part. Laurie has refused to have any discussion or negotiation on this subject. I have never in my life been treated like I have been treated by Day's Motorcycles and Power Equipment management. Day's M&PE failed the test! It has lost potential customer, as a farmer I have needs to service small machinery many times every year. Furthermore I will tell everyone in our farming community to be aware when dealing with Day's M&PE. What was most challenging in this experience is management arrogance, aggression towards customer, not listening what customer has to say and incompetence.
