Not being our approved mechanic for our car's warranty, the owner contacted the warranty company to provide them his certifications so that he could work on our car. Being almost across the road from home, it was so convenient. It was our brakes that were worst and the car was virtually not drivable by the time we got it there. It was also in dire need of a service. For $60 they changed the calipers and pads on the brakes and for just another $60 completely serviced it as well. All in one day. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they were even smiling when we went to pick it up. Great service, at a fantastic price, locally. What more could you want?

Avoid this Garage at all costs. I returned my car after…read morehaving new rear brake linings, as the brakes felt unsafe. They found the LH wheel was over tightened and the RH wheel was under tightened. They then over tightened the RH to be same as LH. When driving away the linings over heated, burned and the car stopped by itself. It cost a further $132 at another garage to machine the drums again and have the brakes correctly adjusted. Their action was irresponsible and totally lacking in customer care.

Parts prices here are similar to Pick-A-Part (depending on what you're getting). Others are slightly cheaper or more expensive. The car selection is good here for imported cars, and Aussie Fords as well. They also group them into sections in a more organised fashion than Pick-A-Part. They're organised into: Holden, Toyota, Ford, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Honda and Hyundai/Kia/Ssangyong. Then, at the back corner, there is just: European and 4WDs as well. They also have a 'desirable' section just to the left of the entrance, for cars that they think are likely to be popular. Staff are mostly good in my experience but again YMMV. Their website sucks though, they do not have a stock database anymore, so you need to keep track on their Facebook page, which can get difficult. Parking is pretty good, Public Transport access is okay, compared to both Pick-A-Parts. The 901 SmartBus runs right outside. If only Campbellfield Station on the Upfield Line would reopen, that would make it perfect. I would happily come back here if I knew the part I needed was likely to be there.

this is just one of the best jb's around. it happens to be…read moresomewhat near my parents' house so i get to visit & enjoy it often. it is well organised.. & the staff are ace. all nice in their own way & totally know what they are doing. they even seem to enjoy their jobs as opposed to the apathetic faces i have seen at other stores. there is a guy in music who should be on 'spicks & specks'.. {http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spicks_and_Specks_(TV_series)} quite seriously! anyway.... somehow i often find myself peacefully wandering as if it were the beautiful state library in the city.. perhaps it is the fact that there are high ceilings.... & the fact that the lights aren't super super bright hurting your brain. it is calming & spacious & all is organised well. plus the store never really gets insanely busy. so.. i continue to wander.. & buy CDs & DVDs & way too many of both.. anyway.. good things from this chain of stores obviously.. so if you are ever near this one.. pop in & walk around as it the most relaxing of all i have visited. caution: over-spending is easy!

I have recommended them to my family and friends and they are also very happy with the service they have received, Keep doing good work

Be very careful, if you are getting anything from them then it is at your own risk. I bought 4 Hankook tyre from them and I tyre had bubble and when I took it for inspection, I found that the tyre is imported and Hankook Australia does not cover warranty, these people don't give a damn. when I went to the other tyre company to get new tyre, I found that they damaged my tyre while putting it back, I got report from that company and I tried to resolve the issue but they were so arrogant and cocky, that I had to lodge the complaint against them at VCAT. VCAT made the order against them but now they are not paying the order. I am forced to go to magistrate court now, but you can imagine the hassle I am going through. Their name should be FRAUD AUTOS.
