He had the respect to give me detailed information about repair issues. I think the price was fair. Ultratune was also able to give me a quote on repairs when I detailed what I wanted done. I wish I would have read a review about ultra tune and gone here first.

Everyone wants a cheap, friendly and honest mechanic. So far so good with Mark Faraj of Pro Auto…read more Will add a 5th star if this great standard continues. I took my 04 Falcon wagon in for a couple of minor electrical jobs & a replacement mirror. The minor electrics he & staff did on the spot, almost for cost. When he repllaced the electric wing mirror I dropped my car off in the morning with no notice (which meant he had to source the part). It was ready by the afternoon and within $10 of cheapest comparison quote. My little brother put his 2000 Corolla in for a major service and what turned out to be a replacement alternator - $700 for the lot incl 2 new tires, alternator and new battery. Ready within 2 days. There's a few young mechanics on staff but Mark seems to be the hands on manager. In both my brother and my case he called to advise of cost and seek permission for the work.I drive past this garage all the time and often lights on and hoists up late at night. Always lots of cars, early and late model, on site. Seems they're working hard to build a good name and repeat business Did he get the bible chapter reference inked on his forearm as a marketing move?.. too cynical? This and his honest face and manner worked on me anyway. He could probably sell me encyclopaedias..

Again a true Professional and there's not a lot of good mechanics out there that you can really write a good honest review about........ True.. Thanks Mark

After a couple of really bad experiences with car places, I didn't expect too much from this place,…read morebut they really went above and beyond what was needed. Not being our approved mechanic for our car's warranty, the owner contacted the warranty company to provide them his certifications so that he could work on our car. Being almost across the road from home, it was so convenient. It was our brakes that were worst and the car was virtually not drivable by the time we got it there. It was also in dire need of a service. For $60 they changed the calipers and pads on the brakes and for just another $60 completely serviced it as well. All in one day. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they were even smiling when we went to pick it up. Great service, at a fantastic price, locally. What more could you want?

They found the LH wheel was over tightened and the RH wheel was under tightened. They then over tightened the RH to be same as LH. When driving away the linings over heated, burned and the car stopped by itself. It cost a further $132 at another garage to machine the drums again and have the brakes correctly adjusted. Their action was irresponsible and totally lacking in customer care.

Emails were returned promptly & phone calls returned on time. The work done on the car came out like it was off the showroom floor. The quality of the repairs performed here on my 12 month old car after it was hit whilst parked…read morewere appalling. My car was returned with unfixed major structural damage making it unroadworthy. The general workmanship on the non-structural elements such as paint matching and panel alignment were also substandard. I could see the structural damage with my naked eye so I assume they thought I was stupid enough for them to lie to me that the car was fixed - I found it dishonest and offensive. The car ended up being written off by the insurance company because to rectify their shoddy repairs was not viable. I lost a rare badged vehicle which, if repaired properly first up, would still be on the road.
