Since September, I've been struggling with significant mobility issues with no clear cause. After…read moremultiple visits to specialists, my primary care provider, and even two trips to the ER in one week, I remembered a treatment that had greatly improved my quality of life in the past - acupuncture. To my surprise, I found a wonderful clinic just eight minutes from home that also accepted my insurance! After reviewing the website, I realized their program offered everything I was looking for, and more. I had the option of a 30-minute in-person consultation or a 15-minute virtual one both on the same day. I chose to go in person because I wanted to not only learn about the services but also see the space for myself (plus, it was so close!). Shortly after booking, Cara-Michele, the practice owner, called to confirm my appointment and suggested I double-check my insurance coverage. That evening , I arrived a few minutes early, and I'm glad I did. The GPS directions were a little off. The building houses several other businesses, and is secure, requiring visitors to be buzzed in. As soon as I walked into the suite, Cara-Michele greeted me warmly, and I immediately felt comfortable and confident that I was in the right place. Her calm, compassionate demeanor and thoughtful questions helped her understand my needs, and she gave me the space to express my frustrations after so many prior appointments that left me without answers. Cara-Michele walked me through all the services offered, including nutrition and physical training, as well as showed me the equipment and products she uses. While she made no promises, I left that consultation feeling truly hopeful. I scheduled my first acupuncture treatment for the very next day, and the second the day after. After the first session, I felt about 50% better; by the second, I was nearly 90% improved. The name speaks for itself, STRENGTH & VITALITY WELLNESS CENTER! Although I've only had two treatments so far, I'm beginning to feel like myself again. I have no plans to stop anytime soon, and I'm hopeful that continuing this work will help me avoid a major surgery that was scheduled before the end of the year. P.S. the address for this location is 106 Old Court Rd. Ste#200 Pikesville, MD not 6302 Falls Rd.

I'd had one before at Vita Revive but wasn't as impressed because their door had an opening near the hinge that let cool air in so I didn't feel like I was getting the complete effect. The sauna at Holistic Solutions was state of the art, from the lighting, areas of concentration for the infrared treatment, the lighting, even down to the music (either your own or choose from a selection similar to what you'd expect to hear during a massage session). Cara-Michele was great and seems knowledgeable about her craft (which seems to be overall holistic wellness). She took the time to explain how the sauna works to me and after my session she walked me through all the different programs she offers. I liked that she had a lot of holistic supplements for purchase but I only discovered them from looking around on my own, she didn't try to push them on me like a used cars salesmen. Outside of supplements she also has nutrient powders and shakes but be advised they're not vegan. I have a primary place I already visit for acupuncture but I do plan to visit this place again to try out some of the other services offered.

In the past 4 years, I had gained 40+ lbs due to some special medicine I was taking (and probably some overeating of hamburgers too haha). I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of it. Juice cleanses, special diets, pills, multiple private trainers, you name it and I had done it. Unfortunately, nothing stuck. Knowing my wedding was just around the corner, I had to do something to get the weight off for good. I wanted to feel confident on my wedding day! I found Lindsay through a quick yelp search and was intrigued. Let's get this straight. This is not a special fad diet or some strict eating plan, its a way of life! Lindsay gives you the tools, skills, and mindset to make a long lasting change in your lifestyle. During the course of the 6 weeks, I lost 8+ lbs and now (more than 3 months later) I'm still continuing to lose weight by following what she taught me. I plan to be at my goal weight in the next 3 months (in time for my wedding!) And most importantly, I feel fantastic!!!!! I feel like a whole new person. Yes, it's a monetary investment but it was worth every penny :) do it!!!

I was always looking for that quick/easy way to lose weight and while I have been successful in the past, it always comes back. With Lindsay's program, I feel confident that this is something I can keep up with long term and I have already seen amazing results. Not only do I notice a physical change, but mentally I feel so much better as well. I am sleeping better and have more energy. As other reviewers have said, this is not a strict or fad diet but a different way of life. I eat out a lot and starting this program I was worried I wasn't going to be able to do that. However, Lindsay taught me some tips and tricks so that I can still eat out, drink and socialize but still eat healthy and it can still taste good. I can't wait to see what happens in the next few months!

Although our Pediatrician was not concerned at all we felt like we needed more counseling and get an opinion from a dietician. Making the appointment and choosing Nourish Family Nutrition was one of the best decision we've made, even if it was an hour an half a way from us. We were counseled by Mandy Katz, her office has a very welcoming, and cozy environment. We sat down in a couch and talked about our concerns, she has a very calm demeanor, we felt at ease when we found out that the growth chart from my pediatricians office is an older version that hospitals don't use anymore we we're happy to know that out little one is on 20th percentile on weight and 24 on height and not 3% and 5% according to an outdated growth chart. She gave us recommendations on toddler feeding, She also shared to us a lot of resources online for tools that we can use and a reputable websites that professional dietician use about toddler and family nutrition and how to handle picky eaters. At the end of our meeting she handed us a paper of the summary of all that we talked about. She assured us that our little one is perfectly healthy and that nothing to be concerned about. It was very helpful to us and happy experience.

It's not because of the weight loss (though that is really fantastic), it's because I am making really smart choices about how I treat my body. And that feels good. We started out by figuring out my metabolic resting rate. That was super eye opening. I figured that at my age, my metabolism had all but stopped. But I discovered this wasn't true at all. It was very motivating from the start. (This process is kind of weird and you drool a bit, but it was worth the extra expense for me. I wanted to know my baseline to see what I was working with.) And I have a degree in Health Education so it's not like I don't know how to read labels or count fat grams. I understand portion control. But Diana has given me real solutions that have just become part of my lifestyle. I lost sixteen pounds in the first two months, and that was just by making smarter food and portion choices. That is all...it was mid-winter so starting a new exercise routine was out of the question. I have never felt hungry or like I was ripped off with half a meal. Most of my work experience has been (in one way or another) customer service related so I am not very patient with those who do it poorly. Diana is more than just my nutrition-guru. I consider her a friend. You'll be glad you started going here. And so will your hips :)

When I made my first appointment, I was told I would receive a follow-up call 7/1 one week before my appointment to confirm my insurance coverage and out-of-pocket cost. I didn't receive the call until 7/3, and I was told that my insurance would cover the visit. When I arrived for my appointment, I filled out the new patient forms and met with the nurse practitioner. The intake and assessment included logging my weight, blood pressure, and medical history. The NP overviewed the body composition report, asked if I have sleep issues, reviewed a list of weight loss medications to consider, and discussed goals (sleep 7-8 hours, add weight training, and keep a food diary for the nutritionist appointment). I told the NP I was not interested in taking medication for weight loss. After the assessment, I was guided to the front desk to make a nutritionist and NP follow-up appointments. I was told by the front desk clerk that there wasn't a nutritionist on location, and if I wanted to meet with the nutritionist before August, I would have to do a telehealth visit. While scheduling the appointments, the front desk clerk gave me two additional forms to fill out. These forms were not included in the original stack I filled out when I arrived. I was given a folder containing information I could easily find online and left the office. While reviewing the material in my car, it occurred to me that I wasn't given a tour of the facility. I returned to the office to ask questions about their on-site gym and asked more questions about the cost of the services. A third person (I assume an office manager) said they could not tell me the cost of my initial visit. I asked how much it would cost if I were uninsured. She stated that she could not give me that information because the cost differs between the insured and uninsured. Due to my insurance, I wanted to get an idea of how much my initial consultation would cost. She stated they bill each insurance company differently, so she could not give me an estimate of the cost. I continued to press the matter, and she gave me the billing office's phone number. Since no one in the office could give me a cost estimate, I canceled the nutritionist appointment until I could see how they would bill my insurance. This morning, I received a call from a pulmonary care and sleep medicine specialist in Towson. The caller stated she received a referral from my PCP and was calling to schedule an appointment for a sleep evaluation. This information was news to me. I asked the name of the doctor who sent the referral, and she named the NP I met with at CoreLife. There was no discussion about being referred to a sleep specialist during my initial visit. I immediately called the CoreLife office, asking to speak to the NP to find out why I was referred without my knowledge. I was told the NP was unavailable as she was with a patient. I gave my reason for calling and asked for a callback. The receptionist said she would pass along my message; however, the NP only takes appointments to discuss concerns. I canceled my follow-up appointment with the NP because this company is dishonest. I am writing this review to highlight the lack of transparency, questionable business practices, and rudeness I encountered in the Owings Mills office. Their primary service is administering weight loss medication, upselling personal training, and billing for follow-up visits with the NP to check vital signs while using the medication. Their website and social media marketing are misleading, failing to mention that patient success relies on taking weight loss medication. They claim to provide behavioral health clinicians, but the NP offered to give me a list of therapists, suggesting everyone could use therapy. There is no on-site nutritionist at the Owing Mills location, and the sad-looking gym is in a backroom in their office, which I had to ask to see as it was not included in the new patient orientation. My experience with this office and company leaves me feeling they prioritize medical billing over patient care. The attached photos show the unprofessional material given in my packet.

So I was supposed to meet with the dietitian the following week and because the office was fairly far away, I asked for a telephone appointment from the front desk employee. She told me as I was leaving that I would receive an email with a link to Google Meet and you had to put your appointment on the calendar, then go back into that email a week later on your appointment day to connect on Google Meet with the dietitian. I am almost eighty years old and didn't realize I would not simply receive a phone call from the dietitian, as all my other medical telephone appointments work. So when I didn't receive a call on my appointment day nine minutes after the scheduled start time, I phoned the company and was told it was ten minutes into the appointment and wouldn't be possible to proceed. She said I could be reschuled and suggested I come to the office the next time. A long story, short, it would be helpful if the company had the information about phone appointments via Google Meet in a handout so the client could, at their convenience, check it out, understand the process, and set it up. At almost eighty years of age, that would have been helpful and I'm sorry I lost the opportunity at the scheduled time to meet with the dietitian.

I payed the total up front because it "shows a commitment" to the program. Per the initial discussion, I was told I would be provided: (1) a meal plan (2) meetings w/ his wife who's a nutritionist & (3) training. Meal Plan: I never received a meal plan w/ custom macros. I was told to send him pictures of each meal, in which he then would tell me what not to eat. After asking several times what to eat (especially so I didn't waist money at the grocery store), he provided a generic caloric profile (i.e., range of 1500-2700 cal) and some specific foods to eat. If I had allergies or a GI disorder that only allows for a specific diet, his method would not adhere to my needs. Meeting w/ nutritionist: I never met her for a consultation.
