The most painful thing I've endured in my 70+ years. Askat was my ideal-he explained the techniques, the science or mystery behind the art, which I really appreciated. Great "bedside" manner, a very wry wit, a very comfortable table and space, and mostly importantly, EFFECTIVE. I have used Accupuncture for a long time, mostly as a prophylaxis, and Askat used several methods that transformed me from a mess to a functional being. And then I was beset with an GI issue that arose in the meantime. He treated me for it while dealing with the back issue. I went to ER at the urging of too many people the same day. Their tests revealed I was quite healthy but they could not explain my issue. The day after his treatment and my ER visit, I got up without any issues and have remained that way. I couldn't explain why I was "cured" as ER gave me nothing. When I returned for another back treatment and then recalled his treating my GI. Epiphany! Peter has a wide variety of techniques he uses from traditional acupuncture needles to e-stim needles, massage, gua sha, reiki healing, and meditation. I'm not a frequent chiropractor visitor, but I really needed relief. Dr. Larry was meticulous, gentle (I'm not a big fan of the big pops and cracks), but he was firm. He spent a lot of time pinpointing the issue and explaining things to me along the way. I left the office immediately 30% better than when I walked in, and within 6 or so hours at home with a regimen of icing and heating, I was 80% recovered.
