We called the minute they opened and they fit us in before we had to leave to catch our flight. This America's Best changed that. The staff was friendly, the store was clean. I ended up ordering glasses and they shipped them to my home address. While the sample frames fit perfectly - when I received mine they were way too big. I couldn't wear them. I took them to a local AB store to get them tightened and they weren't really able to handle it. On our next visit to Galena, we took them back in to this branch and they were able to properly bend the frames to fit perfectly. The only complaint I had is that when I tried to order my contacts at my local branch - and they said they didn't have access to that information? Wha? Overall - great experience!

They were rude, inattentive and there was not communication between the two receptionists as we waited in silence for a few minutes because of the lapse. I was with my mom who went up to order contacts of her own (as I was back for my appointment.). The reception staff greeted her with "What do you want," and "we just need to do it at the end." Very disappointed in the service, would be switching if Dr. Manternach wasn't so great!
