The manager's vibe rubbed me off wrong as it almost felt like he was pressuring my partner and I to sign up instantly. Looks like they have a good amount of machines, space and classes. Wasn't a fan of the crowd so we didn't to go with a different gym more local and friendly.

I've been going to Optimal Sport for over 2 years and I've have nothing but positive things to say. When I first went in I met with Chris he was so encouraging and helpful. I wanted to try working out with a personal trainer, he asked all about me and what I wanted to accomplish. At the time I had recently lost my husband and was recovering from a very bad accident. I had gained a lot of weight and was completely out of shape. Because of my injuries, especially my shoulder, I couldn't lift my left arm over my head, had very poor balance and a host of other annoying issues. Chris thought that Lauren and I would work well together, and he was right! Over the past couple of years I've have had some injuries and other medical issues and Lauren has worked with me through everything. Lauren, Chris and all the trainers have bed nothing but encouraging! I went from not being able to lift a 5lb kettle bell to dead lifting 205lbs, I can leg press 315lbs and squat 160lbs! Now that might seem to be a lot to some people but for a 54 year old short chubby girl it's pretty good!! I love going to Optimal Sport !
