Dr. Fu is knowledgeable, and compassionate, and maintains dignity for her patients at all times. I have had eczema since I was a small child, and every now and again under certain circumstances; either I have indulged in too many sweets, or the weather is too cold, or my microbiome is out of whack, or I am just stretched to capacity, and my immune system is vulnerable I end up with a severe flare. In just a few treatments the inflammation was down, and the eczema was gone. I love the way I feel like my body is getting just a little stronger with each visit, and that my functionality improves more and more. I love everything about how I feel after being treated by Dr. Fu, and her son Cory - the craft is definitely passed through the lineage. When my husband got pneumonia for the first time in his life, I went to Dr. Fu & Cory because I believed they could definitely contribute to his recovery, and they did not disappoint! If you are new to acupuncture I believe Dr. Fu is hands down the best place to start, and if you are looking for a skilled healer who understands how to address your anatomy and physiology into optimization ~ Dr. Fu is the real deal.

Dr. Wang is a kind-hearted doctor who really cares for his patients. When I first came to him, I…read morewas an emotional mess dealing with anxiety and PTSD. I had just recently had a major trigger and was experience a strange breathing problem where my breaths would just stop whenever I tried to go to sleep at night. My heart was also skipping beats 24% of the time (reading from my heart monitor) and my Cardiologist insisted that I needed to have surgery (Cardiac Ablation). I had seen several different doctors and specialists who all had no answers about my breathing issues and they hid behind their skepticism of whether I was even truly having those symptoms. Dr. Wang, however, was honest and didn't claim to have the answer himself, but he shared his own personal story of when he was once a young man who struggled with something similar. He had a suspicion that all my symptoms might have shared the same source of problem - anxiety. So he said, "Let's give it a try." After just the first treatment, that night was the first night in 3 weeks that I was able to sleep more than 5 hours. I slept for 7 whole hours. Then on the next night, I slept for 8 hours and knew that it could not have just been luck. The acupuncture was working. So I immediately called him to schedule another appointment right away, and another, and then another. I wound up seeing him 3x a week for about 3 weeks. That was all it took for me to see all my symptoms go away about 85-90%. No more need for heart surgery. And during that whole time, he did not try to prescribe me any herbs. When I had asked why, he simply said that he wanted to wait and see. That showed me that he was genuinely trying to do the right thing for me and not simply trying to make more money. This was my first real acupuncture experience and I walked in as a skeptic. But I can honestly say that I'm a believer now. And I trust Dr. Wang.

The woman at the front desk was very helpful and super nice. I called yesterday and they were able to get me an appointment the very next day! Overall, I found the office staff to be very easy going and professional. Once I completed my paperwork (FYI they take many different insurance plans!) my practitioner, Deborah, greeted me and showed me to my treatment room. Before we even got started with the acupuncture we first sat down to discuss my medical history and why I was there to seek treatment. Deborah was very thorough going through this process and took time to explain various aspects of my diet and how and where I could improve to help and enhance my treatment. After we got through all of that we got started. Deborah explained the entire process, including what she was doing adding why she was choosing which spots. Overall I had a great experience and have already booked my next appointment. I highly recommend Long Island Holistic Health Associates.
