I'd tried about three since we moved here, but none of them screamed 'I want to be your regular plumber'. So I called my regular HVAC company and asked them to recommend someone and they gave me the number for Arty's Plumbing. I called Arty's and explained my problem to the person who answered and guess what? He actually sounded concerned about my emergency and said someone would be there within an hour. In less than an hour, Frank arrived, assessed the problem, turned off the water to the water heaters and to the house and proceeded to repair the leak. From the time I found the puddle in the garage to the time the problem was fixed was less than three hours, and that included Frank having to make a trip for a piece of hardware. AND, the cost was very reasonable (I thought). When he handed me the bill, I couldn't believe it was so low. And Frank was very nice. He also either didn't make a mess or he cleaned up after he was done. Either way, there was no mess for me to deal with. AND after all this, the worst thing we have is a water stain on the garage ceiling. My car (that was just washed that morning for the first time in a couple months) didn't even get dripped on.
