This has to be one of my favorite lunch places in Mexico thus far. They serve waffle sandwiches- not the usual soft Belgian waffles but a delicious, thinner, crispy waffle bread version. I've tried the roast beef sandwich (super juicy and tender, my friends and I's favorite option), Serrano sandwich with Serrano ham, spinach, apples, dried berries and Gouda (very fresh tasting), and the breakfast version with eggs, ham, and cheese. I highly recommend any of those options.
Also served with the sandwich is either a salad with berry vinaigrette or potato chips, kettle style with chili flavoring. I'm partial to the half sandwich plus a soup option- both the cream of broccoli and lentil soups I had were delicious and came with a small waffle bread on the side. I also tried the iced chai latte, which was on point. The breakfast menu is served all day, also a huge plus. I highly recommend freims as a nice, fresh option and will definitely be back. read more
