I use this place about once a month as a treat for getting through the month with , hopefully, a few pennies spare! The Quality of food This is not the best quality chippy in the world but it is convenient, tasty enough usually and reasonably priced - a sausage in batter is 0.80p for example. If you are given food that has just been cooked it tastes lovely, hot and fresh, my main complaint is that they leave the chips for too long - if for example not as many customers have gone in - so if you are given chips from the tail end they are not really hot enough and a little chewy. The fish comes in lovely crispy batter - never been undercooked - and is always a good size and very thick chunky fish so you never feel ripped off. The burgers are fried with everything else so I do avoid them as they tend to taste far too greasy. The place is kept clean and clear of debris and I have never felt ill after eating here.

COWBOY BURGER: The…read moreappearance of the Cowboy Burger was instantly inviting: a glossy sesame bun stacked with a juicy patty, melted cheese, and crispy bacon, all paired with golden fries. It earned a confident 7/10 for its visual appeal. The size, however, was slightly underwhelming. Despite the promise of a hearty cowboy feast, the portion leaned modest, settling at a 4/10. Where the dish truly shined was in taste. The burger delivered a bold, smoky richness balanced by creamy cheese and savory bacon, while the fries provided the perfect crisp companion. This experience easily reached a stellar 9/10. Though it didn't quite live up to cowboy-sized expectations, the flavors carried the day. Am I satisfied? Yes--yes I am. Out of 30 i rate this Business 20/30
