The WORST customer service. We walked in no greeting. Walk to the front our server has AirPod maxes on her head. Can barely hear me. I have to continue to repeat myself. We finally order it takes her 20 minutes to make three items. A line continues to form and all of a sudden she goes to the back for 10 minutes. I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service at this location. After experiencing an issue, I reached out in good faith, gave ample time for a response, and... nothing. Not even a courtesy reply. To be ignored entirely after taking the time to share feedback is unacceptable and speaks volumes about how little they value their customers. Frutta Bowls Miamisburg. YUM! I'm not much of a traditional breakfast person, so this toast is a nice alternative when I do find myself hungry in the morning. Each piece of toast is PILED with fresh toppings. The photos don't do justice as to how big just one piece of bread is either. I ended up sticking the apple toast in the fridge, and saved it for later in the evening. I was shocked at how well it stood up. I was fully expecting a soggy mess, but it was still great several hours later. The mango refresher left something to be desired. It was watered down, with not much of a mango taste at all. One of the best açaí bowls I've ever had, from no where other than Dayton Ohio. Always surprised and impressed with this place. Came in around lunch time to an (obviously) busy store with people from nearby buildings coming in for lunch and it being winter break for local schools. Didn't wait too long to order, but when I did the woman who I assume is the owner was very kind and straightforward in asking me if it would be okay if there was a wait for my food. I ordered and ended up waiting no more than 10 minutes and my bowl was great. Everything here is fresh and I love that you can see them get the fruit out and it's not just bagged frozen. Also love that with the bowls they layer the granola so it's much easier to mix up or easier to eat without mixing if you prefer that. Have gotten the protein balls before too and they're great as well. Different protein options (whey bs plant) and several gluten free substitutions for everything as well. Another couple walks through the doors, at which point the lady making food yells to the back for a girl to come take their order. The girl comes out and immediately starts taking their order. I had asked what the stuff was in the base and didn't get much info, I'm still not 100% sure, but maybe I'm not brushed up on what açaí is. Anyway, didn't try the kale base. I may go back. The guacamole toast was so so. I think next time I'll try building my own bowl maybe? It would be nice for them to list the macros and calories in the menu. I was under the impression that it's health food but was a little overjoyed to see things that looked like a dessert and not just a açaí and kelp with fresh fruits and other healthy things. One would think after all of the negative customer service reviews that the owner would realize they need better training and more focus on friendliness and efficiency. I visited months ago and received the smallest bowl ever - only filled halfway. I contacted the owner and she gave me the same tired speech that apparently she's given others - so I stayed away for several months. Decided to try it again recently in the hopes there was either new management or new employees. This time my bowl was filled to the top (thankfully) however the employees still don't greet anyone and barely speak - so awkward and uncomfortable. Just the worst experience imaginable. Ordered two smoothies online. Came in and we were third on the list. After 15 minutes they made one smoothie, put it on the counter, didn't call my name, and the inexplicably cleared the second smoothie off the list without making it. I went and asked what was up and they all looked at each other confused. The manager (I guess?) said she'd made it. She went in the back and came back ten (maybe 15) minutes later with our second smoothie. During that time, several other people had their orders filled by the workers out front. We got the detox, the Greene machine, and (the strawberry papaya one) it is true I can make better ones at home and make smoothies for a week with the original cost this would have taken. I think I had my expectations set too high. I lived off açaí bowls when I lived in Cali so I was expecting something similar from here. Meh, I was disappointed. The location and menu is beautiful. Actually, the bowl I ordered was beautiful...until I put my spoon in it. The base was FROZEN SOLID! I highly recommend this place to anyone. I bought the superfood bowl which contains Kale, Pitaya, Acaia three foods high in antioxidants and gut health. Other fruits included are bananas, strawberries, blueberries, honey and granola. This is the kind of meal you eat and feel amazing afterwards. I have always had a pleasant experience here and the owners and employees are usually awesome! Unfortunately, the last experience my friend and I had have changed my thoughts. Jordan was cashing me out and I believe Jenna was the manager I spoke with. This initially began with the cost of our meal being greater than the deal they were advertising. I mentioned this to the cashier and her excuse was that they have not been given updated menus and it is no longer valid. You would figure if it was no longer valid and they knew that, they would not be advertising it. We told her that she should put it away so that more people are not mistaken. She refused to and argued that they leave it out for people to see the menu. Well, the menu is always displayed on the TV's so that doesn't make sense. Also, if you leave it out for the menu, then honor the deal you are promoting. She rolled her eyes and went back to speak with the manager. The manager came out, instantly very unprofessional, and acted like she had no idea what was going on and simply said "your total is ___". I was speechless. Neither of us knew what to say and we ended up explaining the situation and she said with an attitude "alright I'll take the menu back if that's what you want. " Meanwhile, Jordan begins making our food, intentionally longer than it should have taken and we noticed the menu was right back on the counter.
