His sister had just been diagnosed with MS and his mother had it and was worried as some of the symtoms he had were signs of MS. He went to several doctor's and Nuerologist's and had MRI's done on his spine and brain, but they all came back clear. Aaron's pain had worsened, and he didn't want to see a typical Chiropractor to crack his back. He researched the internet on the different types of chiropractic care and found Dr. Andrea. After speaking with her over the phone, he had to meet her. My husband had many issues with his back from boxing, car accidents and riding motorcyles. He had what she called "Military Neck" from keeping his chin down for boxing. After seeing Dr. Andrea his pain completely ceased in about 4 months. He went frequently at first, but his adjustments were holding well and he was feeling better so now they are not as frequent. I also began seeing Dr. Andrea while pregnant with my son. I had alot of back pain with that pregnancy and my pelvic was not aligned properly. Her adjustments helped my pain, aches and headaches. All of my children see Dr. Andrea and we LOVE her!! She is VERY knowledgeable in her profession. The thing that really stood out to me were all the testimonials of the patients she's helped with very different health aliments, illnesses and/or pain. She has them lined up in her walls and it's just amazing how Upper Cervial Care can help so many different health issues. Her story on why she began her career in Upper Cervical Care was very touching. As a mother, she works very well with her younger patients. When my son was born, he began seeing her immediately. It helped with his colic and ear infections. Her office is also very kid friendly!! This was very important to my husband and I as we have 6 children and most often we all see her at the same time. She has a diaper changing area with diapers and wipes for those with small babies. She even provides refreshements like tea, water and snacks while you wait. This is very helpful for those with children as sometimes it's not always practical to have snacks on hand. My children ages 2-15 see her every other month and we fully trust Dr. Andrea and her care. When they have had sports injuries and when I've sprained my ankle she has helped adjust those problems areas as well. I can't thank Dr. Andrea enough for the care she has provided my family. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in October 2004 and I have been searching for a way to heal ever since. I am so thankful to Dr. Andrea and Jennifer for being so patient and loving with me. Appointments are on time, easy to be seen within a few days and they care about your healing, about you!! Yes you have to change your eating, take supplements and change lifestyle to heal, but I found it easy with their help! I have been dealing with some pretty severe anxiety issues for the past year of my life. I was getting to the point where I did t really want to leave my house, or be around people. I've started acupuncture with Dr Schulte and I already am feeling so much better. A lot of the physical pressure and anxiety I was feeling has been improving significantly and rapidly. We are teaming these efforts up with some of the other treatments offered at Healing Horizons. I'm noticing that about 24 hours after each appointment I'm feeling more and more revitalized and also less stressed. Although I still deal with anxiety and depression I've been able to combat these issues with a much more positive and proactive outlook. Most noticeable is that the physical affects of the anxiety are going away, and not slowly. The heaviness and sluggishness and also the feelings that I can't breath or think or move...all of the negative physical side effects of my anxiety are going away. Dr. Ron Engler is amazing. I have seen 4 different chiropractors for my back and hips, but would…read morefeel exactly the same the next day. They would quickly adjust it, but everything would go back to it's incorrect place. Dr. Ron actually really works at it. He uses a combination of manual adjustment, a shifty table (I'm sure it has a super technical name), and one of those popper guns (again, it certainly has a more technical name). What is unusual is that apparently he spent years doing physical therapy and whatnot, so he really works the muscles around the misplaced spine. Bad news, it hurts. He really digs in there and ouch! Good news, he actually fixes things. My hips and back don't hurt anymore and that is truly incredible because they really did hurt like all the time. Totally worth the painful 20 minutes in his office. He does suggest enzymes, and I don't know how well those work, and he is willing to try some alternative methods. I've told him I'm skeptical of all that, but I do know a good chiropractic adjustment and this is it. Fun bonus: he has a few massage chairs and will let you chill out while you wait or if you just want to relax after your appointment.

She is my new best ever chiropractor. My shoulder had been hurting for 2 1/2 years. I've had injections, medications, and physical therapy but nothing has helped. I walk in and check in without an appointment, which can mean that I will wait sometimes, but very rarely do I have to wait. The line is always short when I come in.
