Food and Ice cream are awesome! Service with a smile always! Good place to hang out and eat some ice cream on a summer day!

I've been coming to frosty boy since I was probably like 2 years old. I know the place has changed hands a few times but the current owners have worked very hard to make sure that the menu is very similar to the original and that the customer service is still great. I now live down in Texas, but I was very excited to bring my less than 2 year old daughter here for her first ice cream cone. The service was great, prices were more than reasonable, and they even gave us the kids come for free. I'm glad that a wonderful place like this can still exist in the midst of all the chains moving into town. Also! Great and cheap American food if you're hungry as well!

Old fashion soft serve cream shop - perfect. Friendly staff and delicious. We always stop by when heading from Michigan back to Chicago.

This little stand take you back in time to the 1960's. Excellent high quality Ice Cream, Shakes and the chili dogs are out of this world!

You know, as much as I have been to Oink's in my lifetime, I cannot believe that I forgot to leave…read morea review for them YEARS ago! First let me start by saying that Oink's and I go way back. I believe that the first time I went there was in 1988 when I was 16 (my two older cousins were raised in Union Pier), and since I visit SW MI at least twice a year, I never leave without going to Oink's before coming home. As I always took my kids to Warren Dunes instead of Chicago beaches, my kids always got to enjoy Oink's before coming back home also! So this year was no different and my wife and I got to sit down and enjoy ice cream before coming back home. I have always loved the different ice cream flavors (especially strawberry cheesecake), and as I always do, I bought a few pig keychains and other things from the gift shop. I also have always loved the old-school vibe! So every time I am up that way, I'll be there!! One last thing: I got to meet Coach Vink back in the day because my older two cousins (The McSmith brothers, who both passed away unexpectedly in 2024 and 2025), played for him at New Buffalo High School. Coach was a good dude, and I was sorry to hear of his passing. So, see you next time I'm up there!

Another ice cream review from another favorite!…read more Oink's has been around for ages and is always a great place to stop in if you're in New Buffalo! There's a parking lot and other fun places in walking distance as well to check out. The decor in Oink's will never leave you bored. There is so much to look at! They have a number system so once you enter, be sure to grab a ticket with a number on it and it'll flash on the screen. There were a few groups who came in who were unaware of that and so the lines and ordering process was a tad chaotic. Eventually one of the staff mentioned something about grabbing a ticket and it was easily sorted. Everyone working was very friendly and patient which is a huge plus. I tried out one of their cherry and chocolate ice cream flavors. So tasty! I also love knowing you can get a half scoop as well although it was still so much ice cream. The perfect place for a sweet treat!

The line was out the door, but we had our scoops in less than 10 minutes. It's a great spot! Reasonably priced and the ice cream was delish! They seem to cater to dietary restrictions. Everything is labeled and they even have "safe" scoops which are prescooped to avoid any cross contamination allergens. If you have the time and desire for a sweet treat, check them out.

Just a quick review of my experience - Murphy's is a popular ice cream shop near the Notre Dame…read morecampus in South Bend and there is a reason it is so popular! The ice cream and the vibes are so cool! The vibes are very cozy and the staff are hard workers. You can also sample some of their ice cream, many of which have very creative names! (See my picture of the bourbon ice cream, "Exhausted Parent"). There are three sizes you can get, generally 1, 2, or 3 scoops. The "small" is 2 scoops and cost a little over $5. I got myself the small as a post dinner dessert with my boyfriend and some of our friends on a crisp April day in 2026. One scoop was the oatmeal cookie chocolate chip, one of the best ice creams I have had in a while, and the other scoop was called Fat Elvis, also pretty good, although it could have had more texture. They rotate their flavors sort of regularly so maybe next time I visit, I'll find a new favorite! As for now, the oatmeal cookie chocolate chip is my favorite flavor here. Yum!
