We almost served over 100 seniors raw fish and raw potatoes. We had to spend another 40 minutes after the event start time cooking the food. Even after this, the potatoes were so hard, I could not stick a fork in them. The rice was severely undercooked as well. When I announced the time for seconds, nobody came up and most people just threw away their food since it was inedible. I was patient and understanding, even though this was super avoidable if she had just taken a peek at the food. She knowingly knew her oven was not working and still served us the food. We didn't even ask for a refund for this, even though nobody could eat the food But when it came time to cancel a week in advance for an upcoming Since understandably, we did not want her to come back she is refusing to give us a refund. Apparently, she has a no refund policy that you conveniently have to actually go on her website and look for it is nowhere on the invoice. I have reached out to her multiple times and I've just gotten an automated response She is refusing to take responsibility for her actions and it's taking it out on senior seniors. Who now are going to miss out on next happy hour because she won't give us the refund.
