Today, I need a quote for a simple renter's insurance policy for my mother in the retirement home. Jay said he was sending my request to underwriting 5 days ago. He hasn't responded to emails for an update. I called an insurance company I don't like and got a quote over the phone. It is sad to think that CIA wants to have a customer calling their competition, but that is where I am at, calling around to get some renter's insurance for my mom. They were able to match my coverage for a cheaper price than I was paying at the time (my insurance company did not cover me out of that state). Last week I contacted them again after moving back to Texas. Again they were incredibly friendly (my favorite thing about a majority of Texans), and gave me a huge range of options to choose from. Some of the prices were very high but some of them were cheaper than companies like Geico and The General. I got my quotes fast and they had all the paperwork done and copies of the ID card emailed to me within 2 hours. Very easy company to deal with. Give em a shot. Oh! They also let me know that once I get my license switched to Texas, my rate will go down, so if I call and give them my TX license #, they'll take care of that for me. Nice honest people.

On top of that I asked them to duplicate the same coverage as before then 2 months later the loan holder charges me $930 for insurance because it didn't have collision coverage as it did before. A simple phone call would have been nice before the policy lapsed. I had never been late on payment or anything. I would give to them a negative number on the rating of I could!
