It brought a bit of my inner child out again when I saw all the JD toys...albeit none within my budget range.. The store not only sells John Deere equipment, they also have Stihl products and the like. My reason for going to the store was that I had recently purchased a JD riding mower at Home Depot, but was unsure what kind of oil and gas it uses. The staff at the JD store were kind enough to bring the manual for my specific make and model up on their computer screen and then set me up with exactly what I needed. Really it made me feel kind of guilty/regretful for not purchasing it from them, but that's due to both ignorance on my part (didn't even know this store existed before today) and also that they weren't all that price competitive. I do think in retrospect that the higher prices at the JD store would have been worth it, just because of their expertise in the brand.

The technician who came (Jeff) was on time, professional, and very courteous. They had to take the rugs away for cleaning, and they came back two days later as promised. The technician who returned them (Steve) was more than happy to help me lay them back where they were so I didn't have to struggle around furniture and up the stairs by myself. The carpets and rugs looked brand new and smelled great. Add that to the great service and reasonable price, I'll definitely be using them again.
