Which was a first for 'self-service' do it myself copying (which I am hopeless at! eeek - technology and me don't go well). Service with a smile is the hallmark of any passionate business. And I found On Time Printing for my stack of photocopies a nice find. And in Crows Nest too - my local village shopping precinct. The humongous office franchises like Officeworks may be cheaper - and I have enjoyed doing business with Officeworks but now they have closed down their Artarmon operation I was left high and dry. Pal my husband suggested I shop locally and try out his fave photocopying haunt On Time. In an effort to try to shrink my ecological footprint and not drive to try to save $2 and also to support small local businesses I'm recommending and going back to On Time Printing.

He charges $60/hour with a two hour minimum, which I thought was fair. His spatial awareness isn't too much better than mine, and I didn't love the fact that he asked me to move the mattress by myself at one point while he took a call from another client, but I understand that missing a call can mean missing a job. Overall, I would still happily hire Usman again, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable man with a ute.

In desperation I get on the net. Someone suggests I speak with Paul at Cloud Print Creative. "Easy" he says "just email it to me." Half an hour later I'm trying to find his office in an industrial complex in Chatswood. Once located Paul hands over three beatifully printed posters on quality stiff paper. He's at work on his own, printing machines everywhere all super high tech stuff. And a bag of golf sticks leaning against a desk. Cool. " Whats the damage?" I ask, in a full crouch having already calculated how fast I can sprint to the car. "Dont worry about it mate - such a small job" When I get I get home I have a very happy son and a hugely relieved wife. Got on the net and checked these guys out. Turns out they are big, contracts with Hamilton Island, Kawasaki, those massive posters you see at the airport - these guys made them.
