I was almost overwhelmed at the selection and quality. The store also sells beautiful cards, books, mugs and oh yeah pictures. What I like the most about the shop is that they will frame pictures you bring in and when I asked about pricing they seemed to be pretty reasonable. In addition the store does carry some incredible pictures, including one of Audrey Hepburn that I had not seen before and I'm a huge fan! They take cash only and will have you usually pay half up front as a deposit (there is a cash point at the Coop down the street... one of the ones that 'speaks' cockney). There is generally a wee bit of bargain room and the work has always looked very professional. Turn around is usually about a week. Framing things is an investment, but the look afterwards is worth it!

This place had reasonably priced items by smaller artists that made it very approachable. I bought a piece for like 400, which in the scheme of something hanging on your walls for decades isn't too bad. I visited a bunch of other galleries that were stuffy and had very expensive stuff. This gallery has a lot of things that regular, "non-art", people would buy and hang on their wall. I researched a few of the artists in there and they all seemed like fairly new artists that were getting their feet wet, so it feels good to support them.

I always loved this market on sundays- just because it's always a bit quieter than the upmarket and the stalls are a bit more bling-y, like bling phone cases, and bling necklaces, interspersed with some good old vintage glasses and hand drawn artwork. ALSO there's a good few food stands outside too! The collar I even haggled for and damn, i got tonnes of compliments- so it shows that you don't need to pay crazy prices for UNIQUE statement jewellery.

Run by a deeply unpleasant woman named Claire. Extremely rude, offensive and seems to think…read moresmaller projects are beneath her. I went to her despite some negative reviews of her on Google but since I was in the area, I decided to get a quote. She started by loftily claiming they do only 'classy' frames when in truth there wasn't much of a selection aside from black, white and grey and some ornate. Then came mounting boards which were also available only in these 3 colour tones. I knew by then she was not only very limited in range and choice, she was also seriously lacking in good nature and customer skills. I decided however to give her the benefit of the doubt - I value eccentricity in craftsmen but she was something else - as I needed mine framed quite urgently. I finally left taking my custom elsewhere after she told me she was running out of patience with my 'stupid' questions and that she's not inclined to explain further about the various types of framing methods because it was 'beyond me'. I kept my cool and walked out after calmly telling her I find her very rude and had made genuine efforts to remain polite and friendly in spite of her behaviour. To retaliate any further in response to some of the boorish comments she's made would've lowered me to her stoop. A person so sadly repugnant in personality and behaviour, a Rottweiler with rabies would've elicited less aversion and more empathy from me. Avoid at all cost.
