Great newer location with friendly and helpful staff…read more Location Easy to find in an excellent location on the edge of town. Walking distance from a few restaurants and the local movie theater. Building & Rooms Lobby and breakfast area were clean and modern. As with most Hampton's there was a small snack shop with a good selection of hot and cold items. Breakfast was great with a variety of choices each morning. Pool was typical for the hotel size and located right next to the elevators. Pool area was clean with a rest room attached. Only concerns were the lack of a hot tub and a limited supply of towels next to the pool on both stays at the hotel. Room quality was excellent. The only issue experienced is that one of the rooms did not have a functional outlet/charger port next to the TV. Staff & Service Probably one of the friendliest staffs I've experienced at a Hampton in recent years. Staff were knowledgeable about the local area and happily provided recommendations. Other Thoughts Review based on two separate stays at this location.

We arrived very late, much after check-in had ended, but the staff called us to reconfirm our arrival and gave us a number to call when we arrive so that they could let us in. That was very kind and they really went the extra mile for us. The room was very large and tidy, but nothing fancy. I slept comfortably. The breakfast was good enough for a quick start to the day and I appreciated it. I had tea, toast, yogurt, and an apple.

But a note to management: In our mid-70's, we found the bathtub/shower to be quite dangerous: (1) Shower is in a bathtub with rounded edges at the floor and very slick bathtub bottom; (2) No grabrail in the bathtub/shower. Quite dangerous for older people. Also: Our King room came with a chaise lounge. I would have much preferred a simple upholstered chair; perhaps with a footstool.

It's a small town road side hotel…read more It has a pool, breakfast, ability to bring your pets (I suppose children too) for a fee or stay in a special room. I'm unsure of the prices, as I'm staying for work but the amenities seem pretty good for the price, the parking lot is large and offers room for any person bob-tailing. It's next to a Verizon, half a block from an amazing Mexican restaurant, in front of a Walmart, and Goodwill. I don't see how anyone could be unhappy with all of that at your fingertips. The rooms are clean, spacious, maintained (for the most part. I have crumbling and broken tile in the bathroom, some full tiles have popped up) decently, there are no erroneous hairs, no dust, the AC/HEAT works wonderfully and the front desk staff was very friendly. The only thing missing is a decent view. Would stay here again.

I found my stay here to be adequate. It was a bit pricey at well over $100 a night, but that is probably a function of my timing, which was at a very busy time for them. In fact, there were no rooms available for many of the days I was traveling. I dealt mostly with Donna, who was very accommodating and helpful in a stressful time when she seemed to be the only person working. She managed to keep breakfast stocked (a typical eggs and sausage affair) as well as manage the desk. My room was nice and left little room for complaint. On that note, the internet was very slow at times but overall that was not an issue.

Oh my goodness. Lawdt. Nooo thank you…read more The rooms are not only old, but run down. There is zero noise buffer between rooms, so laughing, talking, farting, toilet habits, coughing... you get the idea. Will all be heard. I heard multiple showers go on in the am, multiple toilet flushes. It was a decent alarm clock but started around 5-5:30A. The lobby is run down, and the man who runs the property stays in a room to the side. He tried to have my (new) co-worker pay for his already work provided room when I walked away (thinking he wouldn't know any better, but we had talked about it earlier in the day.) When I came back the man looked at me like he'd been caught when I walked in on the middle of the conversation. Luckily my co-worker told him no. There is blood on the wall in the back hallway, shmutz on the wall in the rooms, halls, and bathroom walls. It's gross. If you are with your family, this is a LAST resort. I promise you.
