I am astounded to read the other reviews. Perhaps there are new staff members since those experiences? I have nothing but good things to say. My husband, son, and I stopped in during a stay in town over spring break. We showed up at noon, when they open, on Thursday. The ambiance is definitely a blast to the past; the carpet, music, food counter were all 80s-90s era. The staff were friendly and welcoming, more than willing to help us out and answer questions. The woman working the food counter was efficient and brisk but kind. We paid for an hour of play and made it through 2 games before spending some time in the arcade section. Don't go for the arcade, as much of it is the claw games, but it was a fun little addition to our stop. The space was busy enough to have energy but not so much as to be crowded or uncomfortable. Owner and 2 employees were rude when I brought a water in from outside for my 1 year old. It was a water with a straw and stated I had to throw it away because it was in conflict with their liquor license. Unprofessional and not understanding to a mom trying to keep her little one hydrated while enjoying some family fun. I won't be going back. read more

Terrible environment. I understand being strict about rules but the manager's attitude needs a real checking out. I brought in an outside drink and instead of asking nicely to throw it away or leave it in the car, the manager just kept rudely pointing it out... while I was looking at their food court menus. After that interaction, I immediately decided that I wouldn't be purchasing food from them. As a beginner bowler, I struggle keeping my ball out of the gutters. After my partner kindly asked if we could have the bumpers put up, the manager told him no, and that it is only for 12 and under. I don't see why this rule is necessary since it wouldn't affect anyone to put the bumpers up. There wasn't even a twelve year old in sight, there was barely anyone in the building. On top of all of this, we were charged $45 for an hour in a musty room that clearly has not been cleaned since the 90's. This place should be grateful they're the only bowling alley in town; anyone could run a better business than this. They need a serious change in management and a serious deep clean. This place was is over priced and the staff is rude. The approaches are tacky and you can't slide. ( even with good shoes.). I do not like the carpet either. people spill drinks and then you can't see it but you step in it. then you stick even more on approach. 30 mins south east of this place is Frontier Bowl in Cushing. It is so nice and so are the people. Cheap and fun. Save some money and drive to Cushing. See Derek at frontier bowel. The owner and best Pro shop in Oklahoma. Tell Derek Jeremy sent you. my wif and I bowled here in Stillwater 2 years ago. we rolled one game we both had our own shoes. it was almost 20 bucks. Cushing is never more than 4 bucks a game and even $1.50 on some nights like Tuesday. read more

Very poor customer service. The older chunky guy working there is extremely rude and does not know how to speak to people. If you are not friendly or know how to speak to people maybe he should consider not working there. I will NEVER spend another dime in that establishment. read more

Every single staff member was incredibly disrespectful. We went for an OSU event and the staff acted very condescending to everyone there and was overall unprofessional. I understand they have to enforce things like no drinks and other things but the staff conveys all their wishes in the most rude way possible. Really wish this wasn't the only place to bowl in Stillwater. read more

The entire staff was extremely rude! Me and my girlfriend went during the suab bowling night and were meeting some friends. After walking in with chick fil a we just bought to eat while bowling, the heftier man rudely told us that we couldn't eat here. After assuming he meant near the lanes, we went to the food and drink area to gather our food and things to leave where he once again responded with "HEY! Out means out!" Not even giving a chance to leave. Not only that but the taller man in the spears shirt and glasses would not give me shoes and kicked my friends and us off of our lane (osu had a one game per person rule, BUT an osu event leader said we could play another game, but the workers wouldn't allow it). Apparently everyone who works there has no social skills and thinks they're on the top of the world working at a bad bowling alley. Grow up guys! read more

Best believe my friends and I will not be stepping foot in that bowling alley ever again. The dude with the glasses was very disrespectful and rude towards all my friends for a minor mistake. He also got in one of my friends faces and would not stop yelling at him after apologizing multiple times. Someone let me know when they hire new management and they will get their customers back:) read more

Normally I don't mind going to frontier lanes and actually enjoy it but honestly I am kinda almost fed up with it. Me and my girlfriend were going to the bowling alley on Wednesday night which is unlimited bowling from 8 to 10 so we showed up at 8 o'clock and when there it was extremely busy which as expected the front up people said could take 45 minutes to 1 hour which we was fine with. But there was people that were literally on there 8 or 9th game which was ridiculous for us but for other people that wanted to bowl tonight as well and we waited an 1 hour and 40 minutes to just to bowl one game. Like I said I understand the unlimited bowling but at a current point think there needs to be a cut off to where many other people can have a chance to bowl and have the same fun experience read more

Who can resist a trip to the bowling alley with friends? This is a pretty good alley set up in the old style, but the equipment is newer. I like the new equipment, but there's still something about those old ball returns and projected score boards where you write on your sheet with a pencil. I miss the old style, but I guess the new stuff at least saves trees. read more

Sometimes they have great workers, other times they have jerks. Its the only bowling alley in stillwater, though. But we hardly ever go because its pretty pricey. read more
