She…read morewas the first vendor we booked for our April 2020 wedding (that obviously was canceled due to Covid) and was super patient and helpful during the almost 2 years we ended up planning our wedding because of multiple cancellations. She gave us tons of recommendations for other vendors, many of whom became instrumental parts of our day, like Kelsey Crews Photo and Tanya of RSVP Weddings & Events. She became a friend throughout the long process of our wedding planning and she even met up with us when we drove down to Santa Barbara to check out some venues and meet some vendors. She showed us this hidden gem of a ceremony venue that I fell head over heels in love with (although unfortunately we didn't get to be married there because I let my husband have his first choice of ceremony venue, as it was one of the only things he actually cared about). My husband and I are both pretty introverted and awkward people, and hate being the center of attention and people looking at us, so we were NOT looking forward to being filmed or photographed. However, Jennie (and our photographer Kelsey Crews) were so warm and sweet and fun that they actually made the photoshoot one of the most enjoyable parts of the day! The 4 of us went off after the ceremony before the reception to film some footage and take photos, and we had an absolute blast! Jennie was even kind enough to send a 1-min sneak peek video the day after our wedding that I got to watch on repeat basically the entire 4.5 hour car ride back to the Bay Area! Choosing Riviera Productions to shoot our day was the single best decision I made throughout this entire process, because without Jennie (and some of the other vendors she introduced us to), we never would have had even close to as perfect a day as we did. We had an awful experience with Ridge Productions! Once we received our wedding video back we were…read morein shock that this is the work of a professional company. Important moments during our ceremony were omitted from the video. I had made a special audio for my husband, a prayer for us, for our walk and this was left out of the video!! We did a mash up dance that was also omitted from the video! Our cousins did a fabulous dance for us that was also left out! WHY? These are important moments of the wedding! It should be noted that I had communicated with Ridge Productions before our wedding that these special moments must be included in the video. During another important moment, the marriage contract, the entire video footage was shaky, I felt like my 7 year old nephew could have taken better footage. So careless at such a sensitive time! To make matters worse the audio during our marriage ceremony and contract was way off and didn't match the video. What is going on? During our speeches, the coloring of the video was off and again, shaky footage. I just can't understand how you could do this for someone's wedding? We paid for the Platinum package, which was the highest package available. Doing this with an expectation that we would be pleased with the results. To our dismay, we were beyond disappointed! Through my interactions with Ridge via email, and phone, I really tried to work this out and edit the video. After the 1st edit I was shocked that what I received still had the same issues!! I was so sad and it was so hard to even look at the video again to make notes for our 2nd round. I finally sat down and worked on all my notes. The owner Tim completely blew me off and said there is nothing else he can do for us!!! WHAT?? Our contract states we are entitled to 2 edits. We didn't even get 1 edit because our video was never in a normal state. There was so much work and issues with the original video. Now we have to pay to get our video edited by another videographer. I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! BIG FAIL!
