While Johnny Ocean Cargo is more renowned for shipping balikbayan boxes to the Philippines, I chose to try this company out simply because it would be less expensive for me as it closer to where I presently live. The owner Lito Morte goes above and beyond in providing good service to his customers, and made sure all their needs were met. Here's how he met mine: 1) When I told him that I needed 2 more boxes to complete my shipping order, he literally drove over to my area and gave me 2 huge boxes for FREE at 9 in the evening without any complaint whatsoever. I don't think Johnny Ocean Cargo would be as determined as that to win over my business 2) When he came by my place again to pick up the boxes the following day, he noticed that the taping on my boxes were not well placed and could easily be broken into or damaged once the goods are shipped. Being a customer's friend, he immediately went back to his car, got his tape and re-taped all my boxes- again, all without complaint and implying that I should pay extra. He even offered to plaster the 'Fragile' sticker on my boxes for free. 3) He even gave me a discount on 3 of my boxes as they were quite small which saved me some money. Who honestly would not want that? 4) Best thing about it is I don't have to wait forever in line just to be serviced as Lito personally assisted me, and prioritized my business Overall, I think this is a very good company because of the service it provides. I'll definitely use them again next time!
